Mass measurement device
A mass measurement device comprises a force sensor, a hose, a base part, an article-holding part, and a computation unit. The force sensor has a fixed end and a free end, and outputs a sensing signal in accordance with the magnitude of a force in a sensitivity direction. The hose is configured to pass suctioned air through it. The fixed end is fixed to the base part. The article-holding part is fixed to the free end, one end of the hose is connected to the article-holding part, and the article-holding part holds an article by air suction. The computation unit computes the mass of the article based on the sensing signal.

A container lifting and weighing assembly for determining a weight of a container, the assembly having: a frame for supporting a container, the frame being connectable to a support surface to transfer a weight of the container from the container to the support surface; a lifting structure locatable between the container and the support surface, the lifting structure having one or more movable actuators and a load sensor, the lifting structure being movable between: a rest position, wherein the load path from the container to the support surface does not traverse the lifting structure; and a weighing position, wherein the lifting structure lifts the container such that the load path from the container to the support surface traverses the lifting structure, wherein, in the weighing position, the load sensor is adapted to provide a load sensor signal indicative of the weight of the container.

The weight-checking unit generates a not empty signal if the value of the corrected load is greater than or equal to a predetermined value.

APPARATUS FOR GROW TOWER WEIGHT MEASUREMENT
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for weight measurement of grow towers and/or grow lines with grow towers disposed thereon. In various embodiments, compression type, tension type, and/or beam type load cells may be positioned at various locations within the apparatus to facilitate weight measurement. In one embodiment, a hook, which couples a grow tower to a grow line, includes a tension type load cell disposed between two portions of the hook. The load cell measures force applied thereto which can provide or be translated into a weight measurement.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for weight measurement of grow towers and/or grow lines with grow towers disposed thereon.
