Granule dosing system for plastic processing machines
A granule-dosing system for plastics processing machines including a weighing container removably retained in an operating position on a framework; a plurality of supply containers having outlets which are connected to an inlet of the weighing container via dosing mechanisms; a mixer with an inlet which is connected to an outlet of the weighing container; and a safety switch and a control device designed to switch off the dosing mechanisms and/or the mixer when the safety switch emits a switch-off signal, wherein the weighing container is configured such that, in the operating position, it blocks access to the dosing mechanisms and/or to the inlet of the mixer, and the safety switch is arranged on the framework such that it emits the switch-off signal when the weighing container is removed from the operating position.

CONCENTRATE FILLING SYSTEM
Concentrate filling system includes a solid loader operable to dispense particles through a dispensing end. The system includes a conveyer operable to receive the dispensed particles at a proximal end and further dispense particles at a distal end. The system includes load cell operable to receive a container that receives the dispensed particles. The system includes an injection pump to dispense fluids into the container. The system includes controller operable to receive data from the load cell indicative of a weight of the particles and/or fluid and send a control signal to the conveyor to adjust the dispensing of the particles and send a control signal to the injection pump. Upon receiving indicative of a predetermined weight of the container, fluid, and particles, the controller is operable to send a control signal to the conveyor and the injection pump to stop dispensing of particles and fluid.
Device for dosing bulk material
A device for dosing bulk material, in particular plastic granules, for machines that process plastic granules, in particular for injection molding machines. The invention provides a bulk material feed (1), a material hopper (3) formed by multiple, preferably four, individually removable material hopper containers (2) and arranged under the bulk material feed (1) and ending in a dosing base device (4), and, optionally, a weighing container with a scale in the dosing base device (4). The individual material hopper containers (2) are arranged on a support spider (5) and the support spider (5) is formed by support spider plates (11) arranged vertically and perpendicular to one another. The support spider is mounted on the housing of the dosing base device (4). The support spider (5) has a height (h), which is at least the height (h.sub.1) of the material hopper container (2), which extends over the dosing base device (4), and corresponds to the immersion depth (h.sub.2) of the material hopper (3) into the dosing base device (4). A material hopper cover (6) is provided on the end of the support spider (5) facing away from the dosing base device (4).

SYSTEM FOR CAPTURING POINT OF CONSUMPTION DATA
This system describe herein uses a recipe application and verification information from one or more appliances to capture corroborated point of consumption (POC) data for food consumed by an individual. The recipe application may present a graphical recipe interface that includes a recipe step that a certain amount of an ingredient is to be added to a container that is on a kitchen scale. An appliance may detect a change in the mass of the container indicative of addition of the ingredient, and then provide information data associated with the addition of the ingredient to the recipe application via a wired or wireless connection. The recipe application may receive the information, and then verify that the ingredient was added to the scale. Once the addition of the ingredient has been verified, the recipe application generates and stores verified consumption data for the ingredient.
