An information processing device includes a controller configured to execute acquiring a detection value obtained by detecting an amount of a product stored in a storage location corresponding to the product by a sensor, and transmitting a notification regarding a storage error of the product to a user terminal in a case where a decrease amount of the product based on the detection value of the sensor in a predetermined period is larger than a threshold value.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD

An information processing apparatus including a processor, the processor being configured to execute acquiring a quantity of stock of a first product stored at a storage place based on a measured value indicating a weight of a load at the storage place by a weight sensor installed at the storage place. The processor executes: acquiring a weight per one article of the first product; and determining, when there is an increase or decrease from a last measured value to the current measured value of the weight sensor, whether or not the increase or decrease in the measurement value is due to addition or reduction of the first product, based on the weight per one article. The processor executes updating the quantity of stock of the first product when it is determined that the increase or decrease in the measured value is due to addition or reduction of the first product.

Multiple object detection

A system for singulating objects includes a bin for receiving a collection of objects, a robotic manipulator for grasping objects from the bin, a scale for measuring a weight of the grasped objects, and a computer system for comparing measured weights to acceptable weight ranges to detect double picks. Methods include determining acceptable weight ranges by weighing a plurality of objects.

APPLIANCE WITH SENSING FOR LOAD DETERMINATION
20220178734 · 2022-06-09 ·

A refrigerator appliance with sensing for load determination including a shelf and shelf support with a resilient member positioned so as to be compressed by the weight of food items placed on the shelf. Changes in pressure or flowrate of a fluid in the resilient member are used to detect changes in the weight of food items. The appliance can be configured to execute one or more events based on the detected changes.

AUTONOMOUS SUPPLY ROOM

An autonomous supply room includes an enclosure, a computer dispensing system, and one or more processors. The enclosure includes a secure entryway configured to provide access to a user into the enclosure based on a user characteristic; and at least one storage shelf within the enclosure. The computer dispensing system includes a sensor integrated to the storage shelf, the sensor configured to detect addition or removal of items to or from the shelf and to transmit one or more signals indicative of detecting addition or removal of items; and one or more cameras configured to track movement of the user within the enclosure. The one or more processors are configured to receive the signals from the sensor and tracking information from the camera, identify one or more items taken from the at least one storage shelf by the user, based on the one or more signals from the sensor and on the tracking information from the camera, and transmit, to an inventory management system, information identifying the user and the items taken from the at least one storage shelf.

Refrigerator appliance having a weight-detecting shelf assembly

A refrigerator appliance may include a cabinet, a door, and a shelf assembly. The cabinet may define a chilled chamber. The door may be rotatably hinged to the cabinet to provide selective access to the chilled chamber. The shelf assembly may be disposed below the image module within the chilled chamber. The shelf assembly may include a mounting bracket attached to the cabinet, a shelf attached to the mounting bracket, and a weight sensor disposed within the cabinet in cantilevered engagement with the shelf to detect stored mass at the shelf.

Vending device with integrated inventory monitoring

A vending device has at least one display area and an evaluator. The display area is formed by a rigid body, and has at least two, spatially-separated product areas, the rigid body of the display area being held by force transmission areas of at least two weighing cells. The evaluator is configured to, at periodic intervals or when a total weight detected by the at least two weighing cells changes: determine new coordinates of a center of gravity from data of the weighing cells, and transmit the new coordinates to a controller. The controller is configured to: determine a product area within the display area based upon changes in the coordinates of the center of gravity, determine, from the change in a total weight, the weight of goods removed from or added to the determined product area, and update an inventory, stored in a memory, for the product.

An inventory system includes one or more shelving units and an inventory computing system. The shelving units each include shelves for storing medical supplies, a control system, and a communications interface. The shelves include shelf locations that each include one or more weight sensors for measuring weight thereon. The control system is in communication with the weight sensors for receiving measurement signals therefrom and causing the communications interface to send weight measurements for each of the shelf locations of each of the shelves determined according to the measurement signals. The inventory computing system is in communication with each of the shelving units via a network to receive the weight measurements for the shelf locations. The inventory computing system determines quantities of the medical supplies stored on each of the shelf locations according to the one or more weight measurements.

Identifying non-uniform weight objects using a sensor array

An object tracking system that includes a sensor and a tracking system. The sensor configured to capture a frame of at least a portion of a rack within a global plane for a space. The tracking system is configured to detect an item was removed from the rack. The tracking system is further configured to receive the frame of the rack, to identify a marker on an item within a predefined zone in the frame, and to identify the item associated with the identified marker. The tracking system is further configured to determine a pixel location for a person, to determine the person is within the predefined zone associated with the, and to add the identified item to a digital cart associated with the person.
