Fish kiosk for weighing and transmitting fish weight and method for its use
A fish weight capture system accurately captures and records the number and weight of each fish caught by fishermen through a geographic area. The system uses a series of dispersed kiosks such that each kiosk weighs each fish processed by the kiosk and captures and image and other information about the fish. The data about each fish is recorded within the kiosk and is transmitted to a central computer and stored within a database. The data received from each kiosk allow a regulatory agency to determine the number and weight of each fish type taken and set appropriate rules and regulations based on this data.

METHODS FOR CONTROLLING FISHING HARDWARE AND DISPLAYING FISHING INFORMATION
A method for controlling fishing hardware and displaying fishing information which includes running an application on a computing device having a display for displaying the application, wherein the application is configured to display and control a fishing lure configuration of a fishing lure. The method further including establishing a connection between the computing device and the fishing lure which includes equipment capable of emitting sounds resembling the prey of a fish, thereby enabling alteration of the fishing lure configuration and which sounds may be emitted. The method further including updating the fishing lure configuration with the application.
MULTIPLE MODE ARTIFICIAL FISHING LURE
A multiple mode fishing lure that includes a main body portion having a waterproof inner capsule, the waterproof inner capsule containing an electronic circuit to produce sounds which mimic bait fish. The electronic circuit includes a controller having pre-recorded bait fish sounds replaceably stored thereon and operationally coupled to a speaker to broadcast the bait fish sounds, a power source for providing power to the components of the electronic circuit, and a plurality of electrodes, wherein each electrode can be actuated, and wherein actuation of at least one of the plurality of electrodes gives an operational result. The multiple mode fishing lure further includes at least one hook coupled to the main body.
MARINE ANIMAL DATA CAPTURE AND AGGREGATION DEVICE
Disclosed is an apparatus incorporating a data capture method involving capturing an image and weighing marine animals during or after harvest. Data captured may be compared against a set of preconfigured rules, the results of which may aid in optimizing a fisherman's workflow by alerting the fisherman of the presence of characteristics of the marine animals that violate any of the set of preconfigured rules, such as bycatch, endangered, or breeding animals. As such, the apparatus may improve operational efficiency, reduce overhead costs, promote transparent fishing practices, and provide catch-to-plate data to various stakeholders. The apparatus also enables an economic model that incentivizes fishermen to use the apparatus by facilitating the remittance of micropayments in exchange for data captured through the apparatus. The apparatus offers a consistent, reliable means of collecting and aggregating complete data from marine animals while at the same time aiding fishermen compliance with regulations.
