Extracorporeal blood treatment apparatus with reservoir status lights
11318235 · 2022-05-03 · ·

Extracorporeal blood treatment apparatus with reservoir status lights and methods of monitoring reservoir status using the same are described. The extracorporeal blood treatment apparatus include a plurality of reservoir scales (30), each of which is configured to weigh a reservoir (32) used in connection with the extracorporeal blood treatment apparatus. A plurality of reservoir status lights (40) are provided, with one or more of the reservoir status lights (40) associated with one of the reservoir scales (30). The one or more reservoir status lights (40) associated with one of the reservoir scales (30) emit light from a location that is closer to their associated reservoir scale than to any other reservoir scale of the extracorporeal blood treatment apparatus.

PATIENT SUPPORT WITH IMPROVED CONTROL

A patient support apparatus includes a deck to support a mattress and a patient on the mattress, the deck including a head deck section articulatable about an axis to change an angle of the head deck section, and a control system in communication with a user interface, with the control system configured to adjust the angle of the head deck section and to adjust the height of the deck in response to input at the user interface. The control system is in communication with a display and generates a GUI (graphical user interface) at the display to display a deck icon representative of the deck and a height icon representative of the height. The control system monitors the angle of the deck section and the height of the deck and adjusts the deck and height icons to schematically illustrate the adjustments made to the height of the deck and the angle of the head deck section to provide visual feedback to a user of the changes in height of the deck and/or angle of the head deck section in response to the user's input at the user interface.

PATIENT SUPPORT WITH IMPROVED CONTROL

A patient support apparatus includes a patient support surface, a plurality of caster wheels supporting the patient support surface on a floor or ground surface, a brake for manually braking at least one caster wheel of the plurality of caster wheels, and a handle or pedal for manually operating the brake, with the handle or pedal at least having a brake position. The patient support apparatus also includes an electrical actuator configured to couple to the brake and to selectively output a driving force and a user interface in communication with the electrical actuator. In response to input at the user interface, the electrical actuator generating the driving force to actuate the brake to thereby brake the at least one caster wheel, and wherein the driving force of the actuator moves the handle or pedal to the brake positon when the actuator actuates the manually operable brake to brake the caster wheel.

A method includes supporting, by a support, a bag containing one or more items of an order and detecting, by a sensor coupled to an end of the support, a weight of the bag and the one or more items when the bag is suspended on the support such that the weight of the bag and the one or more items is exerted on the support. The method also includes comparing, by a hardware processor, the detected weight to an expected weight of the order and communicating, by the hardware processor, an alert when the expected weight is unequal to the detected weight.

The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for providing a display pertaining to a vehicle payload. An example method executed by a processor of a vehicle payload display system includes determining a weight of a payload placed upon the vehicle and displaying upon a ground surface outside the vehicle and/or upon a windshield of the vehicle, an image that provides an indication of the weight of the payload placed upon the vehicle. Another example method executed by the processor includes obtaining information about a laden weight of the vehicle, determining a weight difference between the laden weight and a payload capacity of the vehicle, determining, based on the weight difference, a payload margin available for loading the vehicle or an excess weight loaded upon the vehicle, and displaying the payload margin or the first excess weight upon a display surface that is viewable from outside the vehicle.
