Weighing system, electronic scale, and electronic scale marker for performing inventory management
There are provided a weighing system, an electronic scale, and an electronic scale marker for performing inventory management and the like for processing materials based on weight of processed products measured by an electronic scale. The weighing system includes an electronic scale that measures weight of a processed product and a terminal device. The electronic scale includes a display unit that displays the weight of the processed product and a marker that is provided in the vicinity of the display unit. The terminal device includes a data logger unit that performs character recognition processing within a region indicated by the marker based on an image, which is obtained by imaging the display unit, so as to acquire the weight of the processed product.
SELF REPORTING FIRE SUPPRESSANT TANK CONFIGURATION
A fire suppressant module according to one example includes a suppressant tank having a body and a base, a counterweight scale disposed in the base, and a data module comprising at least one of a display configured to display a weight of the suppressant tank and processor and a transmitter configured to communicate the weight of the suppressant tank.
Self-weighing container
A self-weighing container for transporting delivery items includes a weight-sensing device that is configured to sense a weight of a delivery item that is placed inside the container; a microcontroller that is connected to the weight-sensing device; and a display that is connected to the microcontroller. When a delivery item is placed in the container, the weight-sensing device produces a signal that corresponds to the weight of the delivery item and the microcontroller receives the signal and determines the weight of the delivery item based on the signal. The microcontroller may transmit an indication of the weight to the display, which displays the weight based on the indication of the weight, or the microcontroller may transmit the weight to a smart phone for display.

SMART CONTAINER WITH INTERACTIVE, COLORED LIGHTS
A smart container that includes a bottle or other container, a load cell, an accelerometer, a processor, and a colored light source. The container may be a liquid container, a pill container, or a food container. The colored light source may include one or more light-emitting diodes (LEDs) which can be programed to emit unique illumination patterns. The container may also include a speaker or motor to emit audio and vibrational notifications. The container provides a method of tracking consumption by a user of a substance held in a container.
Payload balance indicator
A load balance system including first and second load indicators visible outside of a vehicle having a bed, first and second load sensors configured to sense respective first and second load weights in respective first and second bed areas. The load balance system includes a controller in communication with the first and second load sensors and the first and second load indicators. The controller is configured to activate the first and second load indicators to generate the same first and second outputs in response to detection of respective first and second load weights that are less than a predetermined threshold value. The controller is configured to activate the first and second load indicators to generate different first and second outputs in response to the detection of respective first and second load weights when one of the first and the second load weights is above the predetermined threshold value.
