An example system includes a camera comprising a monochrome camera sensor that is configured to capture images, a radiation source that is configured to output a UVR waveband, a filter component that is configured to differentiate at least one of a UVA waveband and a UVB waveband of the UVR waveband, and a polarizer component that is configured to cross polarize each of the UVA waveband and the UVB waveband. Further, the camera is configured to capture an image depicting an UVA amount of UVA absorption or remittance as projected on a surface area and an UVB amount of UVB absorption or remittance as projected on the surface area.
METHOD AND DISINFECTION SYSTEM FOR DISINFECTING A CLOSED SPACE OR SURFACE INCLUDING WALL-MOUNTED UV RADIATION DELIVERY AND MONITORING APPARATUS
Method and disinfection system for disinfecting a closed space or surface including light fixtures fixedly positioned at predefined locations in a closed space. The disinfection system includes a UV emitter module positioned over a robotic system. The light fixtures and the UV emitter module emit ultraviolet C (UVC) light for disinfecting the closed space or a surface in the closed space. The disinfection system includes sensors for measuring the amount of UVC light delivered by the light sources and UV emitter module. The disinfection system includes a control system for determining a profile for the closed space or surface based on the amount of UVC light needed and corresponding time to disinfect. The control system communicatively connects to the sensors. The control system monitors the amount of UVC light and controls the operation of the light sources and UV emitter module to deliver the required amount of UVC light.
