A WORKSTATION WITH MODULAR CONSTRUCTION

A workstation having modular components is described. Modular components include a support column, a head unit assembly including a worksurface, and one or more display mounts among other things. Modular components are coupled to a structure including a wall, a pole, a cabinet, a rack, a wheeled base, or the like. Modular components include features to interface with each other and with the structure. The workstation is easily configurable by the user of the workstation to include the desired modules coupled to a desired structure to perform intended workstation functions.

Arm rest apparatus

An arm rest apparatus, according to one embodiment, may comprise: a fixed part fixed to an external object; a horizontal movement module having one end rotatably connected to the fixed part and the other end having two-translational-degree-of-freedom movement with respect to the fixed part; and an arm support module installed to have two rotational degrees of freedom with respect to the other end of the horizontal movement module.

Ergonomic watchmaker's workstation including, around a work platform, two forearm supports each at least tiltably adjustable in a vertical plane, and control and storage means arranged to control motorised adjustment means in order to move each said forearm support in at least one degree of freedom, and said control and storage means are programmable to trigger, at predefined or random moments, micro movements of the forearm supports of short duration, less than two seconds, and of small angular amplitude, less than 2 and/or of linear amplitude, less than 5 mm, the workstation further including a user interface connected to the control and storage means, to trigger other micro movements, and/or to modify the settings.
