SPECTROPHOTOMETER, SPECTROSCOPIC MEASUREMENT METHOD, AND PROGRAM
When a measurement sample whose absorbance greatly changes depending on a wavelength range is measured, measurement with a high S/N ratio and accuracy can be efficiently performed in a short time.
For a plurality of wavelength ranges in wavelength scanning measurement of a measurement sample, based on measurement conditions including one of a plurality of dimming plates (16a to 16e) to be disposed in each wavelength range and a scanning speed of a wavelength to be set in each wavelength range, when wavelength scanning measurement in which the entire measurement wavelength range including all of the plurality of wavelength ranges is scanned at once is performed, a spectrophotometer (100) changes one of the plurality of dimming plates (16a to 16e) and the scanning speed according to the measurement conditions for each wavelength range.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MODULATING SENSITIVITY OF A PHOTOMETER
A method for calibrating sensitivity of a photometer includes measuring, by a double-beam spectrophotometer, an absorbance spectrum of a control solution, which has been diluted and includes a control substance. The method further includes linearly regressing the absorbance spectrum of the control solution over a predetermined range of wavelengths and determining whether a first slope of the linearly regressed absorbance spectrum of the control solution falls within a range of slopes of lines obtained from linearly regressing absorbance spectra of a plurality of reference solutions over the predetermined range of wavelengths. A concentration of chromophore in each reference solution is known and the absorbance spectra of the plurality of reference solutions have been obtained by the double-beam spectrophotometer.
LARGE SPOT SIZE SPECTROMETER
Aspects relate to an optical device providing a large spot size spectrometer. The optical device includes an optical head, an optical window, and a spectrometer. The optical head includes a plastic molded part having an aperture and a plurality of reflectors around the aperture formed therein. Each reflector may include a respective lamp assembled therein. The optical window is configured to receive a sample, to pass input light from the lamps to the sample and to pass scattered light from the sample towards the aperture. The aperture is configured to filter a first portion of scattered light containing unusable sample information and to pass a second portion of the scattered light to the spectrometer.

MINIATURE MULTISPECTRAL DETECTION SYSTEM HAVING MULTIPLE SPECTROMETERS FOR ENHANCED PHOTODETECTION SPECTROSCOPY FOR DETECTION OF PATHOGENS, BIOMARKERS, OR ANY COMPOUND
Embodiments of this invention relate generally to a miniature multi-spectral system to detection pathogen, biomarkers, or any compound from a sample. In one example, a miniature multi-spectral system comprises a first miniature spectrometer to generate a first spectral output based on a sample, a second miniature spectrometer to generate a second spectral output based on the sample, and a processor coupled to the first and the second miniature spectrometers. The processor is configured to execute instructions to perform data fusion of the first and second spectral outputs to generate fused data, and to apply artificial intelligence (AI) of an AI module to the fused data to identify a pathogen, biomarker, or any compound from the sample.
Device and method for optical spectrum measurement
A device for measuring optical spectra at high speed and with high resolution using tunable optical laser comb sources. In one embodiment there is provided a first tunable comb laser source and a second tunable comb laser source whereby the wavelength of each comb laser source is chosen such that the combination of the two sources provides a continuous spectral coverage over a band in an optical spectrum under a selected wavelength tuning condition. By overlapping the two comb sources in the manner described the deadzone issue is overcome in the most spectrally efficient way possible.
