TEST STRIP FIXATION DEVICE FOR OPTICAL MEASUREMENTS OF AN ANALYTE
A test strip fixation device for use in a method of determining analyte concentration in a body fluid using a mobile device with a camera. The device has top and bottom surfaces, has an essentially planar shape, and also has a cut-out portion configured for application of a body fluid sample. The top surface has color reference fields with known reference color values, including grey and non-grey reference fields. The grey reference fields are symmetrically arranged around the cut-out portion and around at least some of the non-grey color reference fields. The top surface also has position detection code elements. The bottom surface has a connector configured for detachable connection of an optical test strip relative to the test strip fixation device, and a reagent test region of the test strip can be aligned with the cut-out portion. A method of using the device is also disclosed.
MULTICHANNEL COLOR SENSOR
An integrated radiation sensor for color matching functions comprises a plurality of color matching channels, each color matching channel comprising a radiation sensing element and an associated optical filter defining a spectral sensitivity profile corresponding to a color matching function. The sensors comprise a plurality of compensation channels, each compensation channel comprising a radiation sensing element and an associated optical filter defining a spectral sensitivity profile for use in compensating a color sensed by the color matching channels. The spectral sensitivity profile of each compensation channel substantially corresponds to a mean of an upper deviation spectra and a lower deviation spectra, wherein the upper deviation spectra corresponds to a spectral sensitivity profile of a typical color matching channel increased by a fixed deviation in wavelength and the lower deviation spectra corresponds to the spectral sensitivity profile of the typical color matching channel decreased by the fixed deviation in wavelength.
METHOD FOR MONITORING DENTITION
A method for optimizing initial discriminating information extracted from a two-dimensional image of the patient dental arches, referred to as “acquired image”, by a three-dimensional digital reference model of at least one portion of a patient arch, the method including the steps: C1. assessing quality of the initial discriminating information and quality threshold, filtering to keep only the initial discriminating information that has quality higher than the quality threshold, and defining “the discriminating information to be tested” as the initial discriminating information selected; C2. testing consistency between the discriminating information to be tested and reference model; C3. assessing test result and, in accordance with the assessment: adding discriminating information that was not kept to the discriminating information to be tested and/or deleting discriminating information from the discriminating information to be tested, and then returning to step C2. or; defining the optimal discriminating information as the discriminating information to be tested.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus includes circuitry that acquires a colorimetric value for each of a plurality of patches on a first chart printed out by an image forming apparatus and read by a colorimeter. Each of the patches has a monochromatic color. The circuitry further acquires a maximum tone value previously set in accordance with a sheet, and converts each of the colorimetric value, the maximum tone value, and a color system value of a first target into a particular color value. The first target represents an ideal characteristic of the color system value corresponding to a tone value. The circuitry further determines, as a second target, a characteristic passing through a point determined by a color value corresponding to the maximum tone value. The characteristic is generated based on the color system value of the first target converted into the particular color value.

Information processing device and non-transitory computer readable medium
An information processing device includes a processor configured to acquire image data including color information, acquire color information of a formed image, the formed image being an image formed on a recording medium on a basis of the image data, acquire light transmittance information expressing a degree of light transmittance of an image-carrying medium, the image-carrying medium being the recording medium on which the formed image is formed, and associate first color information, second color information, and the light transmittance information with each other, the first color information being the color information included in the image data and the second color information being the color information of the formed image.
Tool to assist in paint matching
There are procedures typically used in auto body shops to assist in matching a proposed paint mix with that on undamaged portions of the vehicle. A test panel is taped to a stick and arranged next to the panel to be matched at a couple of angles. The present procedures are unrepeatable and often utilize two individuals. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a wand has a test panel portion with embedded magnets. The test panel is attracted to the test panel portion via the magnets and the wand holds onto the vehicle panel also via the magnets. The lower side of the test panel portion that sits against the vehicle has at least two flat surfaces at different angles so that the wand can be placed on the surface of the vehicle, or other surface, to assess the paint match from the different angles.
