Camera system, color conversion device and method employed thereupon, and recording medium for color conversion program
A camera system includes: a database which stores a plurality of stereoscopic color profiles, in which conversion relationships calculated from second image data obtained by photographing a plurality of reference color stereoscopic objects assigned with reference colorimetric values in advance and the reference colorimetric values corresponding to the second image data are associated with a plurality of illumination conditions in photographing; a selection unit which, based on an illumination condition at the time of photographing of a stereoscopic subject, selects a stereoscopic color profile corresponding to the illumination condition; and a color conversion unit which performs color conversion from first image data of a photographed image of the stereoscopic subject to colorimetric values, based on the selected stereoscopic color profile.
System and method for color calibrating an image
Systems and methods for color calibrating an image are described herein. In some embodiments, a method includes disposing a unique identifier and a fiducial marker that includes a plurality of color regions on an object. A first image of the object is captured with a first camera and a second image of the object that is captured with a second camera is received. The second image is associated with the first image based on the unique identifier and spectral information of at least a portion of the fiducial marker in the second image is compared with spectral information of at least the portion of the fiducial marker in the first image. Based on the comparison, the second image is resampled to substantially match at least the portion of the fiducial marker in the second image to at least the portion of the fiducial marker in the first image.

Color chart detection apparatus, color chart detection method, and color chart detection computer program
A color chart detection apparatus that detects a color chart from an image representing the color chart having a plurality of palettes arranged in a predefined order is provided. The color chart detection apparatus: extracts any pixel having a color component corresponding to each designated one of a predetermined number of palettes; selects at least three palettes to form a first group and, when a combination of pixels selected on a palette-by-palette basis from among the pixels extracted for the respective palettes included in the first group is arranged in the predefined order, detects each of the pixels included in the combination as being a candidate pixel; and based on the candidate pixel, computes color information representing color of the palette corresponding to the candidate pixel on the image and position information representing position of the corresponding palette on the image.
DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS, COLOR IDENTIFICATION METHOD, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, AND COLOR CHART
A data processing apparatus includes an obtaining unit and a converting unit. The obtaining unit obtains measured color sample data, which represents values obtained by measuring color samples on a color chart with a color measuring device, and image data, which represents an image of the color chart and a target object captured with an image capturing apparatus. The converting unit converts captured target object color data, which represents a value of a color of the target object included in the image data, into estimated target object color data, which represents an estimated value of the color of the target object identified if the color of the target object were measured with the color measuring device, on the basis of the measured color sample data and captured color sample data, which represents values of the multiple color samples included in the image data.
Method for monitoring dentition
A method for monitoring the shape of teeth including: producing a three-dimensional digital model of at least one portion of an arch of the patient or “initial reference model”; acquiring at least one two-dimensional image of the arches, referred to as “updated image”, under actual acquisition conditions; analysing each updated image and producing an updated map relating to a piece of discriminating information; optionally determining rough virtual acquisition conditions that approximate the actual acquisition conditions; searching each updated image for a final reference model corresponding to the shape of the teeth, and optionally to the positioning of the teeth, during the acquisition of the updated image; and comparing the shapes of the initial reference model and of the reference model obtained at the end of the preceding steps, referred to as “final reference model”, in order to determine the deformation and/or the movement of teeth between steps a) and b).

DETERMINING A HAIR COLOR TREATMENT OPTION
Methods and systems are provided for determining a hair color treatment option. The methods and systems include calibrating a camera of the mobile device via a calibration card by determining calibration values from a calibration image captured by the camera, obtaining, with the camera, a first image of a user's hair, obtaining, with the camera, a second image of a target color, the target color representing a color to which the user desires to change at least a portion of the hair, and presenting, via a user interface (UI) of the mobile device, a recommendation, the recommendation providing at least one hair color treatment option to change at least the portion of the user's hair to the target color.
METHOD FOR CORRECTING A COLOR REPRODUCTION OF A DIGITAL MICROSCOPE AND DIGITAL MICROSCOPEE
A method for correcting colors of a color reproduction of a digital microscope and a digital microscope are described. In a first step of a method according to the invention, a color image of a sample that is to be examined under the microscope is recorded. When the recording is performed, wavelength-dependent properties of a microscope illumination unit that illuminates the sample are determined in order to describe a state of the microscope illumination unit, in that settings selected at the microscope illumination unit are captured. A set of correction values is determined, which is associated with a state of the microscope illumination unit that is selected in accordance with the state of the microscope illumination unit determined when the recording is performed. In a further step, the colors of the recorded color image of the sample are corrected by applying the correction values of the previously determined set.
