SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TEMPERATURE DETERMINATION
A method of determining a temperature of a patient includes measuring a first temperature of the patient with a temperature device, and measuring a second temperature of an environment with the temperature device. The method includes determining if a change in the ambient temperature exceeds a threshold. If the change does exceed the threshold, the method also includes applying a correction factor to the first temperature of the patient to account for the change in ambient temperature.
IR THERMOMETRY PROBE COVER
A protective cover for an insertion probe of a medical instrument. The cover contains a flexible tubular body that compliments the probe geometry and a radially disposed flange that surrounds the proximal end of the body. A series of snap-on fasteners removably connect the cover to the instrument. A camming surface is located on the outer face of the flange which coacts with a cam follower that is movably mounted upon the instrument to flex the cover sufficiently to open the fastener and release the cover from the instrument and move the cover axially toward the distal end of the tip.
TWO-IN-ONE THERMOMETER
A cap for a thermometer having a probe configured to be placed in contact with a patients body or to be inserted into a body cavity of the patient and a temperature sensor includes a cap housing, a proximity sensor and a proximity sensor electrical conductor. The cap housing is configured to selectively connect with and to be selectively detached from the thermometer and at least partially surround the probe of the thermometer when connected with the thermometer. The proximity sensor is connected with the cap. The proximity sensor electrical conductor is connected with the cap and electrically connected with the proximity sensor. A thermometer including the cap is also provided.
COVER STRUCTURE, DETECTION DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DETECTION DEVICE
A detection device of the present invention includes a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of an eardrum of a human, a supporting member including a columnar portion, to a distal end of which the temperature sensor is attached, a cover that covers the temperature sensor, and a heat shrinkable tube that adheres tightly to a peripheral wall of the cover and a side surface of the columnar portion in a state in which the heat shrinkable tube is shrunk after being heated.
Probe cover for ear thermometer
A probe cover for an ear thermometer includes a conical main body, an annular elastomer, a flange and a plurality of convex rib structures. The conical main body includes a closed end and an open end. The annular elastomer is connected with the open end of the conical main body. The flange is connected with the annular elastomer. The annular elastomer is arranged between the conical main body and the flange. The flange has a first surface and a second surface. The convex rib structures are disposed on the flange and spaced apart from each other, and the concave rib structures protrude upwardly from the first surface.
Infrared thermometer which is easy to be cleaned
An infrared thermometer, having an upper shell, a lower shell, an ear temperature probe, and a forehead temperature head; the ear temperature probe is provided with an infrared sensor, an infrared sensor copper sleeve and a probe body; a piece of flat and smooth transparent glass is provided between an end of the probe body having a smaller inner diameter and the infrared sensor copper sleeve, so that the end of the ear temperature probe inserted into the ear canal is configured as a flat surface by the transparent glass.

Thermometer and body temperature measuring apparatus including the same
A thermometer is provided that includes a main body having a first body including first and second regions and a second body mounted on the first body, the main body extending in a first direction; a rubber cap surrounding the second region and formed to be inserted into the ear; a temperature sensor disposed in the second region and having a specific temperature sensing range with respect to the first direction; and first and second circuit boards electrically connected to the temperature sensor and disposed in the second region in a second direction intersecting the first direction.
INFRARED THERMOMETER CAPABLE OF SWITCHING FOREHEAD TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT MODE AND EAR TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT MODE AND SWITCHING METHOD
An infrared thermometer capable of switching a forehead temperature measurement mode and an ear temperature measurement mode and a switching method are disclosed. The infrared thermometer includes an infrared thermometer body and a forehead temperature measurement cover. The infrared thermometer body has a measuring probe and a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is connected with a first electrical contact. The forehead temperature measurement cover has a thermistor and a second electrical contact. The forehead temperature measurement cover is detachably connected to the infrared thermometer body to selectively cover or expose the measuring probe for switching the forehead temperature measurement mode and the ear temperature measurement mode.
