CORED WIRE, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE SAME
A consumable cored wire for measuring a temperature of a molten steel bath includes an optical fiber and a cover laterally surrounding the optical fiber in a plurality of layers. One layer is a metal pipe, also called metal jacket or metal tube. An intermediate layer, also called filler, is arranged beneath the metal tube. The intermediate layer is a rope.
DETECTOR ASSEMBLY AND METHOD INCORPORATING ANGLED SENSORS
The present invention relates to a detector assembly and method incorporating angled sensors, such that the area of coverage and detection sensitivity are maximized. The present invention finds particular applicability in the detection of sparks and the like in the presence of combustible gases, dusts, and the like via optical, infrared (IR), and ultraviolet (UV) methodologies and the like.
Optical pyrometer
A device for measuring the temperature of a bath of metal contains a sleeve and an optical head. The sleeve and optical head may be joined together or taken apart by rotation with respect to each other. The sleeve is made at least partially of a refractory material. A method for measuring the temperature of a bath of molten metal makes use of the inventive device. By virtue of this device, mounting and removal is rendered easier while keeping the measuring zone centered and decreasing measurement disturbances caused by the emission of gas from the sleeve.
HEATER WITH AN OPTICAL SENSOR FOR OVER-TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
A heater with an optical sensor for over-temperature protection. The heater includes a heating element and a sensor assembly including a coupler and an optical sensor. Wavelengths emanating from the heating element passes directly through the coupler to the optical sensor. The optical sensor provides an over-temperature feedback signal for limiting power to the heating element to avoid an over-temperature condition for the heating element.
Thermopile module
An electronic device includes an outer case, a circuit substrate, a thermopile sensor chip, a filter structure, and a waterproof structure. The outer case has an opening. The circuit substrate is disposed inside the outer case. The thermopile sensor chip is disposed on the circuit substrate. The filter structure is disposed above the thermopile sensor chip. The waterproof structure is surroundingly connected between the filter structure and the outer case for sealing up the opening of the outer case, wherein the waterproof structure has a through hole for exposing the filter structure and communicated with the opening of the outer case.
Deposition apparatus and method for inspecting nozzle using the same
A method for inspecting a nozzle includes: measuring a temperature of the nozzle; comparing the temperature of the nozzle with a reference temperature; and determining whether or not the nozzle is clogged based on the temperature of the nozzle.
Heat energy sensing and analysis for welding processes
A series of time-sequenced heat energy data arrays or data stream sets of a weld process region are processed by a weld data array or data stream processing system to produce a heat energy data set output that is related to weld process region features or weld process region heat energy data. The heat energy data set output can be displayed to a system user and modified by system user input to the weld data array or data stream processing system; alternatively, or in combination, the system user output and input, the heat energy data set output, or data produced from the heat energy data set output by the weld data array or data stream processing system, can be transmitted to a weld process controller to adjust parameters in the weld process responsive to the output of the weld data array or data stream processing system.
Immersion device for an optical fiber for measuring the temperature of a melt
An immersion device for disposable guiding tubes of a robotic immersion device includes a stack for the disposable guiding tubes, a feeding channel for feeding an optical fiber into the disposable guiding tube and for feeding the disposable guiding tube together with the optical fiber into a melt, and a transfer mechanism for transferring one disposable guiding tube from the stack into the channel.
DETECTING DEVICE
A device for detecting at least one thermographic image including a thermal camera sensitive to infrared radiation for acquiring the thermographic image; a protective case, inside which the thermal camera is inserted, having a window through which the thermal camera is able to acquire the thermographic image; a screen, positioned outside the protective case and movable between a first operating position at which it is superposed on the window to protect it from environmental disturbances and a second operating position wherein it is shifted from the window, allowing the thermal camera to acquire the thermographic image; a pneumatic system for supplying air inside the protective case having an inlet outside the protective case; a computerised command and control unit; the pneumatic system includes means for adjusting and distributing the air operating inside the protective case and in communication with the external inlet controlled by the computerised command and control unit.
Device for counting objects
A counting device including a wall that delimits an internal space; an object counter that is positioned in the internal space and includes a measuring lens, which optically delimits a detection zone outside the counting device. The wall of the counting device includes an aperture positioned in front of, preferably centered relative to, the measuring lens, the measuring lens and the aperture being arranged to transmit to the counter a flux emitted by the objects present in the detection zone.
