Temperature sensing system
A temperature sensing device comprising a housing including a display, an extension at least 1.5 inches long extending from the housing, a temperature sensor, and a connector from the sensor to the housing for transmitting the output to the housing. The extension has a proximal section at the housing and an opposed distal section, the distal section being movable relative to the housing. The temperature sensor is at the distal section of the extension for sensing the temperature of a target material and providing an output related to the temperature of the target material. Optionally, the device includes a thermal insulator at the distal section of the extension protecting the temperature sensor from heat from the target material. Optionally, the device includes a light source at the distal section of the extension for aiming the sensor at the target material.
AUTO DETECTION SYSTEM BASED ON THERMAL SIGNALS
There is provided an auto detection system including a thermal detection device and a host. The host controls an indication device to indicate a prompt message or detection results according to a slope variation of voltage values or 2D distribution of temperature values detected by the thermal detection device, wherein the voltage values include the detected voltage of a single pixel or the sum of detected voltages of multiple pixels of a thermal sensor.
Method and device for determining the heating state of an optical element in an optical system for microlithography
A method and an apparatus for determining the heating state of an optical element in a microlithographic optical system involves at least one contactless sensor which is based on the reception of electromagnetic radiation from the optical element. The radiation range captured by the sensor is varied for the purposes of ascertaining a temperature distribution in the optical element.

OPTICAL GAS IMAGING SYSTEMS AND METHOD COMPATIBLE WITH UNCOOLED THERMAL IMAGING CAMERAS
A thermal imaging system includes an infrared camera, a user interface, and a processor. While an actuation of the user interface is detected, the processor is configured to apply non-uniformity correction (NUC) values to infrared image data in infrared images of a target scene; register the corrected infrared images using image stabilization; perform an image-stabilized optical gas imaging process using the registered infrared images to generate optical gas image data indicating a change in the target scene; and generate a display image including the optical gas image data. Actuation of the user interface may be detected while a depressible trigger is depressed, and no longer detected when the depressible trigger is released. Upon detecting the actuation of the user interface, the processor may perform a NUC process to establish the NUC values. A drift indicator in the display image may indicate movement of the infrared camera from a reference position.

Temperature sensor module with integrated lid structure for spurious IR-cancellation
A temperature sensor module with an integrated lid structure for spurious IR-cancellation is disclosed. An improved temperature sensor module that allows detection of a maximum of the relevant IR-radiation from an object's surface of interest as well as generation of additional information about parasitic or spurious IR-radiation that distort the relevant thermal signal in order to enable a cancellation of interfering thermal signal portions is presented. The temperature sensor module includes a temperature sensing element, a sensor-interface control integrated circuit, whereas the temperature sensing element is coupled to the sensor-interface control IC, and a lid structure and a sensor packaging both defining a field of view of the temperature sensor module, wherein the lid structure is formed by a substrate comprising a second integrated temperature sensor connected to the sensor-interface control IC or an external connected processing unit.
LAYER-BASED DEFECT DETECTION USING NORMALIZED SENSOR DATA
The disclosed embodiments relate to the monitoring and control of additive manufacturing. In particular, a method is shown for removing errors inherent in thermal measurement equipment so that the presence of errors in a product build operation can be identified and acted upon with greater precision. Instead of monitoring a grid of discrete locations on the build plane with a temperature sensor, the intensity, duration and in some cases position of each scan is recorded in order to characterize one or more build operations.
