A measurement device for measuring a temperature prevailing inside a container is disclosed. The measurement device comprises: a process connector including a connector body and a fastener configured to be mounted onto a corresponding counterpart surrounding an opening of the container; a measurement unit secured in an opening of the process connector such that a front surface of the measurement unit is facing into the container when the measurement device is mounted on the container; the measurement unit including or consisting of: a heat pipe and a temperature sensor; the heat pipe having two thermally conductive interfaces including a front interface exposable to the temperature to be measured and a second interface in thermal contact with the temperature sensor; and a thermal insulation surrounding the heat pipe and the temperature sensor.

TEMPERATURE PROBE WITH IMPROVED RESPONSE TIME
A temperature probe includes a sheath, a temperature sensitive element, and an insert. The sheath has a sidewall defining an interior space therein. The temperature sensitive element is disposed within the interior space of the sidewall and has an electrical characteristic that varies with temperature. The insert, which is formed of silicon carbide, is operably interposed between the sidewall and the temperature-sensitive element. A method of manufacturing a temperature probe is also provided. A temperature sensing system employing a temperature probe is also provided.
THERMOCOUPLE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
A thermocouple assembly for surface temperature measurement, comprising a sheathed thermocouple sensor cable, a positioning pad, receiving and/or securing a thermocouple sensor end at a desired measuring point, an insulation body, and a shielding, wherein the positioning pad is mechanically connected to the shielding. HEAT PROTECTIVE CASING
The invention relates to heat protective casings (1) for accommodating an item (19) to be protected from high temperatures outside (12) of the casing (1). In order to improve usability of the casing (1) and of the item (19), the invention provides that the casing (1) comprising a side (2) with at least a first side wall layer (3) and a second side wall layer (4) extending along the side (2), wherein a thermal property of the first side wall layer (3) differs from a thermal property of the second side wall layer (4).

Gearbox temperature measurement device
A transmission in combination with a temperature measurement device and a device exterior to the transmission. The transmission includes a rotatable housing which drives a wheel of a vehicle, a wireless transceiver in communication with a thermistor embedded within molding, a battery embedded within the molding, and the molding resides within the housing. The temperature measurement device resides in a wall of the rotatable housing and the rotatable housing includes an interior volume. The interior volume of the rotatable housing is partially filled with oil for lubrication of transmission components residing within the interior volume of the housing. The temperature measurement device is rotated through the oil and out of the oil within the rotating housing when the rotating housing is in motion. The wireless transceiver is in communication with the device exterior to the transmission and communicates a temperature measurement from the temperature sensor and battery state of charge information to the device exterior to the transmission.
