A sensor module for mounting in a motor includes a holder adapted to be mounted in a wet chamber of the motor, a temperature sensor adapted to be mounted in a dry chamber of the motor, a rotational position sensor mounted on the holder, a connector interface adapted to be plugged into a corresponding connector, and a sealing element arranged between the rotational position sensor and the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is spaced apart from the holder. The rotational position sensor and the temperature sensor are connected via a plurality of signal lines to the connector interface. The sealing element is sealingly penetrated by the signal lines from one of the rotational position sensor and the temperature sensor.

The mounting brackets are configured with multiple mounting features that enable temperature sensors to be mounted at different locations. In an exemplary embodiment, a mounting bracket includes first and second mounting features or means configured for selectively attaching the mounting bracket and temperature sensor to a surface via the first mounting feature, or hanging the mounting bracket and temperature sensor from a fixture via the second mounting feature.

A bathythermograph buoy and an associated method of operation are provided to measure temperature and/or optionally other parameter(s) within an ocean or another body of water. A bathythermograph buoy includes a housing and one or more sensors carried by the housing and configured to repeatedly measure one or more respective parameters as the bathythermograph buoy descends. The bathythermograph buoy of one example also includes a memory carried by the housing and configured to store representations of the one or more respective parameters measured by the one or more sensors. The bathythermograph buoy further includes a buoyancy modification device configured to increase buoyancy of the bathythermograph buoy to permit the bathythermograph buoy to ascend.

A measuring device for ascertaining the temperature of a roller surface of a roller body is insertable into a recess of the roller body and includes at least first and second temperature sensors, a mounting rod on which the sensors are situated in the axial direction of the mounting rod spaced apart from each another, and, on each side of each respective one of the temperature sensor in the axial direction a respective supporting element arranged on the mounting rod. Between the supporting elements, the mounting rod is flexible such that each of the temperature sensors is able to be pressed onto an inner wall of the recess with a defined contact force.

The thermistor is positioned to monitor the temperature of one or more of the batteries within the energy storage system.

A conducting wire constituting the twisted wire has a smaller wire diameter than the solid wire.

The thermocouple passage includes a stepped portion formed at an intermediate position between the start point and the terminal end position, a long-distance portion extending from the start position to the terminal end position, and a short-distance portion extending from the start position to the intermediate position.

HEATING ELEMENT ASSEMBLY

In an example implementation, a heating element assembly to heat a surface of a print bed includes a rotatable disc positioned over the print bed. A thermal sensor is mounted to the disc at a first radius to pass over and measure the temperature of a region of the print bed as the disc rotates. A heating element is mounted to the disc at the first radius to pass over and heat the region of the print bed when the measured temperature is below an expected temperature.
