An height-adjustment apparatus for a structure (e.g., a workstation, a work table, shelf system and/or a rack system) is disclosed including a release mechanism, a pawl coupled to the release mechanism and a sleeve including a plurality of slots. The plurality of slots is configured to receive a locking portion of the pawl, the sleeve is configured to be coupled to a support element (e.g., a leg or post) of the structure and while the release mechanism is activated the locking portion is configured to disengage from one of the plurality of slots and a height of a surface of the structure is configured to be adjusted. The surface of the structure is coupled to the apparatus via an end cap adapter.

The carriage decking device comprises four deck maneuver rails arranged in pairs and opposite one another, and connectors, connected at the deck maneuver rails, and which are capable of sliding up and down along the deck maneuver rails. A sleeve for a shelving unit has two halves joined together to form two support tabs extending outward from opposing sides of the sleeve as the sleeve clamps around a post having grooves into which a rib on the sleeve fits to hold the parts relative to the post. The support tabs have a retaining flange offset from the sleeve, at each of two opposing sides of each sleeve. A first collar part fastened to a shelf fits over half the sleeve and fits into that offset so that a slot in the first collar part fits over two abutting support tabs to clamp them together and wedge the sleeve against the post to support the first collar part and shelf. Each retaining flange has a latch portion on its outer surface that engages a mating latch portion on the abutting support tab prevent lateral separation.
