A semiconductor apparatus of the present disclosure includes a semiconductor chip, a plurality of pad electrodes formed in the semiconductor chip, and an impedance element electrically connected between at least two pad electrodes of the plurality of pad electrodes. Then, the semiconductor apparatus is configured to be capable of measuring a temperature of the semiconductor chip by applying a certain electrical signal between the at least two pad electrodes connected with the impedance element from outside of the semiconductor chip.

Thermal sensor integrated circuit, resistor used in thermal sensor and method for detecting temperature
The present invention provides a thermal sensor integrated IC having a resistor and a converting circuit. The resistor is implemented by at least one metal line, wherein a resistance of the resistor is varied with a temperature of the resistor, the resistor has a first terminal and a second terminal, and one of the first terminal and the second terminal is arranged to provide a voltage signal corresponding to the resistance. The converting circuit is coupled to the resistor, and is configured to convert the voltage signal to an output signal for determining the temperature. In one embodiment, the at least one metal line is made by copper.
Temperature sensor module
The temperature sensor module includes: a temperature sensor element and a signal processing circuit. The signal processing circuit includes: a series-connection resistor which is connected in series to the temperature sensor element; a temperature detection circuit which detects a temperature; a first analog-digital conversion circuit which converts an output signal from the temperature detection circuit into a digital signal; a memory which stores a series-connection resistor data piece about a relationship between a temperature and the resistance value of the series-connection resistor; a digital signal processing circuit which uses the series-connection resistor data piece, to calculate, on the basis of the digital signal indicating the temperature of the signal processing circuit, a digital command signal for keeping the resistance value of the series-connection resistor at a constant value, and outputs the digital command signal; and a digital-analog conversion circuit which outputs the digital command signal to the series-connection resistor.

The present disclosure relates to a measuring insert for insertion into a protective tube for determining and/or monitoring a temperature of a medium in a vessel or pipe, which protective tube at least partially protrudes into an inner volume of the vessel or pipe, the measuring insert including: an elongated tube; a temperature sensor arranged inside an end region of the measuring insert; and a coupling element connected to the elongated tube in the end region in which the temperature sensor is arranged, which coupling element is embodied and/or dimensioned so as to serve for fixing the measuring insert inside the protective tube in a state in which the measuring insert is introduced into the protective tube.

Spinning Flat Plate Calorimeter
A spinning flat plate calorimeter device is provided for receiving and measuring laser energy. The device includes a circular disk, a shaft, a structure and a motor. The circular disk has temperature-detection instrumentation for measuring temperature from the laser energy. The shaft is supported by distal and proximal bearings. The structure supports the disk, shaft and its bearings. The motor turns the shaft and the disk. Additionally, the disk further includes a flat plate, a yoke wheel and a plurality of spacers. The plate has an obverse face for receiving the laser energy and a reverse face with a spiral groove for attaching the instrumentation. The yoke wheel attaches to the shaft. The thermal isolator spacers mechanically attach the yoke wheel to the flat plate.
Spinning Flat Plate Calorimeter
A spinning flat plate calorimeter device is provided for receiving and measuring laser energy. The device includes a circular disk, a shaft, a structure and a motor. The circular disk has temperature-detection instrumentation for measuring temperature from the laser energy. The shaft is supported by distal and proximal bearings. The structure supports the disk, shaft and its bearings. The motor turns the shaft and the disk. Additionally, the disk further includes a flat plate, a yoke wheel and a plurality of spacers. Temperature Sensor with Heat Transfer Element and Fabrication Method
A temperature sensor comprises a temperature sensing element, a protective housing, and a heat transfer element. The temperature sensing element transduces a sensed temperature into an electrical output signal. The protective housing at least partly encases the temperature sensing element. The heat transfer element has an outer surface in heat conductive contact with an inner wall of the protective housing and receives at least a part of the temperature sensing element. The heat transfer element is formed separately from the temperature sensing element.
