A CPU executes acquisition processing of acquiring a cumulative time for each temperature of a coolant, conversion processing of converting each cumulative time into a converted value which is a cumulative time at a predetermined reference temperature, and calculation processing of calculating a deterioration level of the coolant based on the sum of the converted values.

ARRAY-TYPE UNDERWATER APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MONITORING DEFORMATION OF RESERVOIR LANDSLIDE

In an array-type underwater apparatus for monitoring deformation of a reservoir landslide, an anchor is buried at an underwater monitoring point in a landslide mass, and a floating shell is configured to float on a water surface. A GPS sensor is configured to transmit and receive a GPS signal to obtain a real-time position of the floating shell, a water temperature sensor is used to obtain a water temperature-time relationship, and a gravity wave gauge is used to obtain a wave height-time relationship. An upper end of a pull cord is securely connected to the floating shell via a displacement compensation mechanism, and a lower end of the pull cord is securely connected to the anchor. The displacement compensation mechanism compensates for a displacement after the floating shell floats with a wave. An encoder-type displacement meter measures a real-time distance between the encoder-type displacement meter and the anchor.

Also described are combinations of temperature sensors and conductivity measurement for precise determination of the concentration of ions in a medicament.

Method and apparatus to determine an effective temperature of coolant fluid for a heat generating device

A method for dynamically monitoring temperature of a fluid at a heat generating device includes monitoring, using a temperature sensor, temperature of the fluid held in a fluidic sump. A first fluidic flow rate and a second fluidic flow rate are determined. A third fluidic flow rate and a temperature drop of the fluid across the heat exchanger in the active coolant circuit are determined based upon the temperature of the fluid and the third fluidic flow rate through the active coolant circuit. A fluid temperature supplied to the electric machine through the active coolant circuit is determined based upon the third fluidic flow rate and the temperature drop of the fluid across the heat exchanger. An effective temperature of the fluid is determined based upon the temperature of the fluid in the sump and the temperature of the fluid supplied to the electric machine through the active coolant circuit.
