SYSTEM AND METHOD OF FOOD MAPPING FOR SAFETY COMPLIANCE
A computer-implemented method for food safety mapping. The method includes acquiring, via a wireless receiver, an encoded unique identifier from a label positioned proximate to a food item. The encoded unique identifier is saved in a food item record of a database. Current food temperature data for the food item is acquired via a temperature sensor and saved in the food item record.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL USING APPLIED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS
Disclosed is a technique for characterizing a product utilizing novel measurements based on the reactive and resistive signals exhibited by the product in an electromagnetic field.
Device for measuring the temperature of a container comprising a fluid
Disclosed is a sensing device for measuring the temperature of a container enclosing a fluid that is stationary or in motion, the sensing device comprising: a band for completely encircling and conforming to the outer surface of the container; a thermally conductive material disposed on a housing portion that abuts the surface of the container on one side when the device is mounted on the container and on a second side abuts the temperature sensor; a wireless communication means in communication with the sensor, wherein the wireless communication means transmits temperature data to a remote wireless device, thereby notifying a user when a temperature measurement falls above or below a target temperature or range thereof; and the band being made of elastomeric material so that when mounted on the container, or tightened therearound, the temperature sensor abuts snugly against the thermally conductive material.
Temperature monitoring and labeling system
A temperature monitoring and labeling system that includes, among other things, a computer and a thermometer having an electronic label display in communication with the computer.
Low Cost Container Condition Monitor
Low-cost techniques for sensing ambient temperatures in a container or package using phase change materials are provided. In one aspect, a temperature sensor is provided. The temperature sensor includes: at least one phase change material configured to transition from an amorphous state to a crystalline state upon exposure to temperatures above a predetermined threshold temperature for a given duration. A method of monitoring temperature exposure of a consumer good using the temperature sensor is also provided.
CONTAINER WITH CLOSURES
A container having a removable drain sensor configured to monitor one or more container parameters and/or one or more external container parameters. The drain sensor being configured to communicate with a remote device to enable remote monitoring of one or more of the parameters.
Data logger and sampling and encoding methods for use in a data logger
A data logger (1) for logging values of a physical environment parameter (T) as a function of time (t) includes a sampling subsystem (2), which acquires sample values (21) of the physical environment parameter (T) at sampling moments which are separated by sample intervals, an encoding subsystem (3) which defines data records representing groups of one sample value (21) or a number of successive sample values (21) with variations which meet a first stability criterion, each data record including first identifiable bits (b10-b00) defining a representative value (Trep) for the samples values (21) of the corresponding group and second identifiable bits (b15-b12) indicating the number of samples in the corresponding group and a flag bit (b11) indicating the use of either the first or second interval length, and a memory subsystem (4) for storing the sequence of defined data records into a memory (7).
AUTOMATED TEMPERATURE LOGGING AND PREDICTIVE ALERTING SYSTEM WITH TIMED LOGS
Disclosed are various embodiments for an automated temperature logging and predictive alerting system for monitoring items that are being cooled or heated. In one embodiment, a predictive logging application may compare a predicted temperature curve of an item to a predefined slope to predict whether or not the item will meet a target threshold. The target threshold may be a target temperature or duration rule that can be aggregated discontinuously over a single day or multiple days. If the projected temperature curve is predicted to not meet the target threshold, the logging application may send alerts notifying a client of available corrective actions. In projecting the predicted slope, the predictive logging application may train machine learning models to analyze historical data associated with the item and the user.
NON-INVASIVE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT OF PACKAGED FOOD PRODUCTS
A non-invasive temperature measurement system comprises an ultrasound transducer configured to emit an ultrasound stimulus pulse toward a product package. An ultrasound receiver is configured to generate a reflected ultrasound waveform from electrical signals that represent physical characteristics of a plurality of reflected ultrasound pulses from a plurality of surfaces of the product package. A first reflected ultrasound pulse is from a first side of the product package closest to the transducer and a second reflected ultrasound pulse is from a second side of product package farthest from the transducer. A signal processor processes the reflected ultrasound waveform to determine a time lag between the first reflected ultrasound pulse and the second reflected ultrasound pulse. The time lag is then correlated to a temperature of a product in the product package. The ultrasound stimulus pulse does not induce nucleation of ice in a supercooled fluid.
SENSOR LABEL PRINTER AND SENSOR LABEL FEEDER
Present invention comprise sensor label, printer assembly, method and system for production and initializing the sensor label, and a method for monitoring the temperature chain of a transport session with goods under transport and/or storage.
