A rotation transmission device includes a one-way clutch which is provided between an output shaft of a speed increaser and an input shaft of a generator, which makes a connection between the output shaft and the input shaft to be rotatable integrally in a state in which a rotation speed of the output shaft is higher than that of the input shaft, and which cuts off the connection between the output shaft and the input shaft in a state in which the rotation speed of the output shaft is lower than that of the input shaft. The rotation transmission device further includes: a measurement section which measures a state of the one-way clutch which changes depending on a load exerted to the one-way clutch; and an acquisition section which acquires the load exerted to the one-way clutch on a basis of a measurement result of the measurement section.

MECHANICAL DEVICE FOR AMPLIFYING RELATIVE DISPLACEMENT

A mechanical device is provided for amplifying relative displacement between first and second mechanical structures operatively connected to opposite sides of a bearing. The relative displacement is caused by a thrust load on the bearing. The device includes a first bracket portion attachable to the first mechanical structure. The device further includes a compliant mechanism which extends from the first bracket portion to make contact with the second mechanical structure. The compliant mechanism is configured such that a measurement end of the mechanism moves in response to relative displacement between the first and second mechanical structures. The compliant mechanism is further configured such that the movement of the measurement end amplifies the relative displacement. The device further includes a sensor which measures the mechanically amplified movement of the measurement end.

Ball and socket joint for a vehicle

A ball joint for a vehicle, with a ball pin that has a joint ball, a joint housing that encloses the joint ball and is provided with a pin opening, in which the joint ball of the ball pin is fitted and able to move. The ball pin extends out of the joint housing through the pin opening. An actuator can press a pressure element, in an axial direction, against the joint housing in such a manner that pressure can be exerted by the joint housing and the pressure element onto the joint ball. The actuator acts upon a spring which acts upon the pressure element. The length of the spring can be measured by a displacement sensor.

DETECTOR

A detector is adapted to a machine including a rotating body. The detector includes a bearing, a detection target, a receiving coil and an excitation coil. The bearing rotatably supports the rotating body relative to a base portion of the machine. The receiving coil includes an outer coil and an inner coil. The excitation coil receives an AC excitation voltage. The outer coil and the inner coil output an AC voltage signal having an amplitude varying with a displacement of the detection target in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction, in response to the excitation coil receiving the AC excitation voltage.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING TORQUE ANOMALIES IN A ROLLING BEARING

A method for automatically detecting free torque anomalies in a rolling bearing includes: a) securing the first ring to a stationary support, b) mechanically connecting a first drag element to the second ring, the first drag element being configured to rotate the second ring relative to the first ring when operated upon by an outside force, c) using a motor-actuated second drag element operatively connected to the first drag element to rotate the first drag element at a first predetermined angular speed about the axis of rotation at least 360 clockwise and counterclockwise, d) generating an electrical signal indicative of a mechanical force between the first drag element and the second drag elements during the step c, and e) processing the electrical signal to calculate free torque values of the rolling bearing during rotation.
