Vibration processing apparatus, vibration processing method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A vibration processing apparatus (10) includes: an acquisition unit (110) that reads, from a vibration information storage unit (112), information needed for detecting an abnormality in a belt conveyor (20), the information being, for example, first detection data indicating a result of detecting a vibration at a first point of the belt conveyor (20), and second detection data indicating a result of detecting a vibration at a second point on a downstream side of the first point of the belt conveyor (20); and a determination unit (120) that determines that an abnormality occurs in the belt conveyor with a necessary condition or a necessary and sufficient condition that a result of comparing the first detection data and the second detection data satisfies a first reference.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEASURING TENSION DISTRIBUTION IN WEBS OF ROLL-TO-ROLL PROCESSES
Systems and methods for measuring web tension distribution in roll-to-roll processes, for example, such as R2R processes employed in the fabrication of printed devices. Such systems and methods entail a web that travels between first and second rollers in a longitudinal direction of the web, inducing tension in the web in the longitudinal direction thereof such that tension is present in a flexible substrate of the web between the first and second rollers, and operating the system to determine an average tension and linear variation of tension present in the flexible substrate resulting from the tension induced in the web inducing a nonuniform tension distribution in the flexible substrate between the first and second rollers. The systems and methods utilize one or more devices that induce deflection in the web between the first and second rollers.

Belt Sensor System
A belt sensor system comprising a first IR sensor disposed adjacent to a belt to detect a belt surface proximity and to generate a first signal therefore, a second IR sensor disposed adjacent to a belt to detect a periodic signal from a second belt surface and to generate a second signal therefore, a signal processor operating on the first signal and second signal to calculate a dynamic belt tension, and displaying the dynamic belt tension on a GUI.
Structural health monitoring system and method
A system and method for performing structural health monitoring on a structural element while it remains in service and experiences normal loading. The energy input to the element will be the normal and random energy inputs the element sees in service. The inventive system places an intelligent module at one or more points along the length of the structural element. The inventive system collects mass data from multiple modules on multiple elements. The system then applies machine learning or artificial intelligence techniques to detect changes in the measurements received from one or more modules. This approach reduces or eliminates the need to provide calibrated input energy. The invention preferably provides the ability to determine the condition of one element or sub-element under measurement relative to other elements.
System and method for monitoring installation and health of belt driven motor/drive applications
An improved system for monitoring drive members in a belt-driven application during installation and during operation and for detecting common failure modes in belt-driven equipment is disclosed. Sensors are positioned within or proximate the motor housing to detect vibrations on the belt or in the electric machine. The vibration signals are used to monitor operating conditions and/or to identify the failure modes in belt-driven equipment. The vibration signals may be used, for example, to determine tension on a belt, detect either a static or dynamic force applied along the belt, a misalignment between a pulley and the belt, or a shock load applied to the belt during operation. By monitoring the various operating conditions of the belt-driven equipment, a controller may identify an existing failure mode or predict a premature failure mode.
HIGH-QUALITY-FACTOR FLEXURAL-VIBRATION RESONATOR FOR PRODUCING TIME REFERENCES, FORCE SENSORS OR GYROMETERS
A resonator is suitable for reducing or suppressing a force transmitted by a vibrating portion of the resonator to a support part. To this end, the vibrating portion includes two extensions which are each meander shaped such that two segments of each extension have respective speed components that are oriented in opposite directions. Such a resonator, which is balanced, can advantageously be used within a rate gyro or a force sensor.
