Pressure indicator for automotive radiator, senses a predefined pressure and flags off a permanent trigger
The invention, a pressure indicator assembly is thread fitted onto a Radiator; the pressure indicator is designed to conduct 2 unique functions of sensing the pre-decided maximum sustainable pressure and communicating the same. Once the pre-decided maximum sustainable pressure of the Radiator is reached, a spring gets actuated and allows air (or steam) to flow inside the pressure indicator assembly. The air flow pushes an arrow head component; the top portion of the arrow head component shoots through a rubber retainer center hole into a visible transparent tube of the assembly. The retainer rubber and the transparent tube only allow partial passage of the arrow head component and entrap its base stem portion permanently, hence permanently flagging off the arrow head component. The flagged arrow head component is visible through the transparent tube, indicating the maximum pressure has been reached.
Hybrid Flow and Pressure Regulation
A hybrid pressure and flowguage regulator apparatus includes a regulator body, an inlet, and an outlet assembly. The outlet assembly includes a first orifice of a first size, a second orifice of a second size that is larger than the first size, and a mechanism that automatically moves the first orifice between a first position and a second position. When the first orifice is in the first position, the flow of gas passes through both the first orifice and second orifice. When the first orifice is in the second position, the flow of gas bypasses the first orifice and flows through the second orifice with a specific flow rate or a second pressure that is less than the first pressure. The apparatus may also include a gauge that provides a visual indication of both the specific flow rate and the second pressure.
Pressure indicating device
The invention relates to a pressure indicating device for indicating a pressure in a first fluid system, said pressure indicating device including a first port via which it is fluidically connected to the first system, which pressure indicating device furthermore comprises a cylinder with a preloaded piston that can be displaced therein in an axial direction, during which movement fluid contained in the first system can act on the piston surface. The invention is characterized in that said piston has an opening in its piston surface, which opening can be made to communicate with a second system via a second port, said piston comprising a diaphragm which is impermeable to a first fluid but permeable to a second fluid, said diaphragm separating the first port from the second port.
VALVE ACTUATOR INDICATOR ARRANGEMENT
A valve actuator is described that comprises a piston movable within a cylinder, an indicator pin support member movable with the piston, and an indicator pin attached to the support member and extending through an opening provided in a housing, wherein the indicator pin includes an attachment region held captive to the support member, the attachment region extending through an arcuate slot formed in the support member. Also described is a valve incorporating such an actuator.
System and method for measuring, calculating, recording and reporting vehicle tire pressure using a pneumatic piston-type gauge
A handheld pneumatic tire pressure gauge includes a substantially hollow tubular body section having a gauge head at one end and an open end opposite the gauge head. The gauge head is configured to operatively connect to a pneumatic tire. An elongated measurement scale is slidable positioned within the body section and is configured to be forced out of the body section through the open end. The measurement scale extends outwardly though the open end a distance proportional with a measured air pressure. The measurement scale includes a series of rectangular markers spaced apart at intervals and arranged in groups of common hue along its length.
Pressure Gauge Including Scale with Graduations Spaced Differently
A pressure gauge includes a base, a dial, an indicator, and an actuating device. The base defines a channel. The dial has graduations in a first region for low pressures, graduations in a second region for high pressures, and a middle graduation located between the first and second regions. The graduations in the first region are spaced at a first distance. The graduations in the second region are spaced at a second distance different from the first distance. The actuating device includes a pressure responding device and a plunger held in the channel. The plunger is abutted by the pressure responding device. The pressure responding device includes a first and second resilient member having a different modulus of elasticity and arranged in series. The shaft is rotated in response to movement of the plunger.
Hitch receiver
A height adjustable hitch receiver is disclosed and described.
BALL MOUNT FOR MEASURING TONGUE WEIGHT OF A TRAILER
A ball mount for measuring tongue weight of a trailer is disclosed. The ball mount can comprise a ball portion for interfacing with a ball configured to couple with a tongue of a trailer, a hitch portion for interfacing with a hitch receiver associated with a vehicle, and a load measurement device associated with the hitch portion. The hitch portion can be configured to pivot relative to the hitch receiver about a fulcrum in response to a downward force on the ball, with the hitch receiver resisting rotation of the hitch portion about the fulcrum thereby inducing a load on the hitch portion. The load measurement device can be configured to determine a magnitude of the downward force on the ball based on the load on the hitch portion.
Manometer with cadence indicator
A manometer with a cadence indicator includes a housing and a gas pressure indicator interfaced to the housing. An input port of the housing is for connecting the manometer to a source of gas pressure, such that the gas pressure at the input port is reflected in the gas pressure indicator, providing a pressure reading. A cadence module is interfaced to the housing such that cadence is provided concurrently with the local of the gas pressure indicator in two cadence pulse frequencies, one for timing of chest compressions and one for timing of administration of breaths. Cadence is provided visually or audibly.
PRESSURE INDICATING MECHANICAL TEE
A device and method for the visual inspection of the existence of pressure within a branch line of pipe is described. A mechanical tee includes a collar portion configured to extend around a pipe. The collar portion defines an axis and includes one or more fasteners to secure the tee to the pipe. A neck portion is coupled to the collar portion. The channel of the neck portion is in fluid communication with the interior of the pipe. A seal is used to prevent leakage between the pipe and the mechanical tee. A pressure indicating device is in fluid communication with the channel of the neck portion and configured to provide a visual indication of the pressure level in the channel. The pressure indicating device may optionally include electrical contacts to communicate with a monitoring system to discern and track the pressure levels in the channel.
