Method and apparatus for cleaning a heating element of aerosol generating device
A method of using an aerosol-generating device is provided, including bringing a heating element of the aerosol-generating device into contact with an aerosol-forming substrate, raising a temperature of the heating element to a first temperature to heat the aerosol-forming substrate sufficiently to form an aerosol, removing the heating element from contact with the aerosol-forming substrate and heating the heating element to a second temperature, higher than the first temperature, to thermally liberate organic materials adhered to or deposited on the heating element. An aerosol-generating device is also provided, including a heating element coupled to a controller configured to heat the heating element to the first temperature and to the second temperature.
SELF-CLEANING WATER PIPE
The present invention is directed to a self-cleaning water pipe including a secondary pipe that directs a stream of filtered water to the top of the main pipe. The stream of water is introduced to the main pipe proximate or adjacent to the mouthpiece in a lateral direction so as to cover the entire inner surface of the main pipe with a water membrane. The water membrane presents a barrier to smoke residue and particulates from being deposited on the inner surface of the main pipe. A tertiary pipe may also introduce a stream of water to a downstem pipe so as to create a similar water membrane in the downstem pipe.
SELF-CLEANING WATER PIPE
The present invention is directed to a self-cleaning water pipe including a secondary pipe that directs a stream of filtered water to the top of the main pipe. The stream of water is introduced to the main pipe proximate or adjacent to the mouthpiece in a lateral direction so as to cover the entire inner surface of the main pipe with a water membrane. The water membrane presents a barrier to smoke residue and particulates from being deposited on the inner surface of the main pipe. A tertiary pipe may also introduce a stream of water to a downstem pipe so as to create a similar water membrane in the downstem pipe.
Broiler-type heating device for electronic vaping
A broiler-type heating device for electronic smoking devices such as electronic cigarettes and vaporizers includes a heating element located above the storage area where the inhalant material is located. The heating element is in electrical communication with a lower connector located below the storage area. A partition defines the bottom of the internal storage area and separates the storage area from the lower connector. The heating device may be two separate pieces, a chamber and a cradle, that are removably connected. The heating element is located in the chamber above the storage area, which is located in the cradle.
Pipe Smoking Apparatus and Method
A pipe smoking apparatus comprises a metal wire or filament having a linear proximal end, a linear distal end and a plurality of shaped windings, the plurality of said shaped windings between and connecting the linear proximal end to the linear distal end with a gas passage formed from the shaped windings and the space inside the shaped windings. The pipe smoking apparatus further comprises an ornamental handle on a proximal end and a cleaning accessory on the distal end. Use of the pipe smoking apparatus involves surrounding the shaped windings with tobacco or a tobacco-like substance, applying heat, inhaling the combusting smoke, manipulating the tobacco-like substance with the handle on the proximal end, and cleaning the pipe with the distal end.
Pipe Smoking Apparatus and Method
A pipe smoking apparatus comprises a metal wire or filament having a linear proximal end, a linear distal end and a plurality of shaped windings, the plurality of said shaped windings between and connecting the linear proximal end to the linear distal end with a gas passage formed from the shaped windings and the space inside the shaped windings. A tool designed for specific purposes is integrated into the detachable storage for use with scooping, loading, stirring, packing, cleaning, or extracting the smokable materials into, from, or within the heating chamber. The detachable storage compartment having an extended surface to fit partially inside the heating chamber tightly packs the smokable material. In instances where a tool is used to scoop the smokable materials, the heating chamber has a nub to aid in the transfer of the smokable material from the tool onto the nub within the heating chamber. A heating chamber is constructed of glass, and a heating element is embedded in the glass base and/or walls.

In some instances, the vaporizer may utilize improved atomizer designs for vaporizing devices, where said designs can be configured optionally, with various embodiments of a breath-modulating deformable valve.
