20210172819 · 2021-06-10 ·

A pressure switch includes a diaphragm sensing element disposed within a chamber to sealingly separate switching components from a passage. The diaphragm sensing element includes a convolution section that controls movement of a deflection section between neutral and pressurized positions. The pressure switch includes a reverse stop for limiting travel of the deflection section when exposed to negative pressure. A stationary seal element may be disposed at the reverse stop to further limit exposure of the convolution section of the diaphragm sensing element to negative pressure.

A module can include a module inlet disposed in fluid communication with the valve inlet, a module outlet disposed in fluid communication with the valve outlet, a module orifice and a module valve seat disposed along a module flow path fluidically between the module inlet and the module outlet and a sensor coupled to the module and disposed in sensing communication with the module flow path.

MEASUREMENT MODULE

A measurement module for measuring the differential pressure between a first and second connection point arranged in a transport line for a fluid. The measurement module includes a first connection line and a second connection line, a differential pressure sensor arranged in fluid communication with said first and second connection line, and a valve arranged in fluid communication with said first and second connection line, wherein compared to said valve, said differential pressure sensor is arranged closer to the first and second connection point.

Pressure modulator

An apparatus and associated method, for controlling signal passage, includes a first passageway for a first fluid, a second passageway for a second fluid, and an interposed chamber. A first, movable diaphragm at a first chamber junction and a second, movable diaphragm at a second chamber junction, with a third fluid bound there between and interposed between the first and second passageways. A device varies a volume of the third fluid bound between the diaphragms and thus moves the diaphragms. A movable member and a reservoir of the device are configured such that the movable member is sufficiently movable to increase the volume of the reservoir to remove a sufficient portion of the third fluid bound between the first and second diaphragms from the chamber to cause the first and second diaphragms to be pressed against the first and second walls, respectively.

Systems and methods for switched multi-transducer pressure sensors and compensation thereof

Systems and methods are disclosed for a switched, multiple range sensor system including multiple transducers. In one embodiment, a method is provided that includes receiving and measuring at a first transducer and a second transducer, a pressure to generate a respective first and second pressure signal; amplifying the first and second pressure signals with corresponding first and second fixed-gain amplifier to generate first and second amplified pressure signals; selecting for monitoring, the first or second amplified pressure signal; converting the selected amplified pressure signal to an intermediate digital pressure signal; measuring, at a thermal sensor associated with the selected amplified pressure signal, a temperature; compensating, based on the measured temperature, the intermediate digital pressure signal to generate a compensated digital pressure output signal; and outputting the compensated digital pressure output signal.

PRESSURE SENSOR FOR A GAS-FILLED CYLINDER

A pressure sensor for a gas-filled cylinder, which comprises a body from which a connector protrudes for coupling to an opening for filling a gas-filled cylinder with gas, a first through hole which passes through the connector and the body and a second hole which connects the first through hole to a sensor element which is connected electrically to at least one electronic board for processing a signal that can be detected by the sensor element.

Bi-directional flow control valve

Methods, systems, and devices are provided for controlling fluid flow in a pressure sensing system. A bi-directional valve can include a first capillary that can couple to a process fluid in a process fluid channel, and a second capillary that can couple to a pressure sensor. The first and second capillaries can include an interface therebetween for controlling fluid flow between the first and second capillaries. The interface region can be configured to allow fluid flow between the first and second capillaries when a magnitude of a pressure difference between the first capillary and the second capillary is less than or equal to a threshold pressure. The interface region can also be configured to prevent fluid flow between the first capillary and the second capillary when the magnitude of the pressure difference between the first capillary and the second capillary exceeds than the threshold pressure.

METHOD FOR TESTING SWITCH IN ADVANCE PNEUMATIC DETECTOR
