A pressure gauge and/or relief valve which may be used in a single-use fluid system, such as a sterilizable fluid system. The pressure gauge and/or pressure relief valve may be configured to measure and to relieve fluid within a fluid-containing structure, the pressure gauge relief valve including a housing having a first end, a second end, and an inner surface defining a passage between the first end and the second end, a movable element movable within the passage, wherein the housing first end is configured to be coupled with a fluid-containing structure, the housing second end is spaced from the housing first end; and the movable element is movable with respect to the housing to indicate pressure therein and to allow fluid to pass between the movable element and the inner surface of the passage at a selected pressure.

Automatic tire inflator assembly
11891025 · 2024-02-06 ·

An automatic tire inflator assembly includes an input hose that is fluidly attachable to an air source to receive compressed air from the air source. An output hose is fluidly attachable to an air stem of an inflatable tire. A control unit is fluidly coupled to the input hose to receive the compressed air from the air source. Additionally, the control unit is fluidly coupled to the output hose to inflate the inflatable tire. A gauge is fluidly coupled to the control unit and the gauge is settable to determine the pre-determined threshold pressure. The control unit is turned off when the gauge measures air pressure that exceeds the pre-determined threshold pressure to inflate the inflatable tire to a desired air pressure.

RESETTABLE OVERPRESSURE INDICATOR FOR AIRCRAFT

An overpressure indicator is defined by a housing sized and configured for attachment within a compartment interior, such as an aircraft nacelle. A pressure sensing element disposed within the housing is coupled to an indicator element and is configured to detect a pressure differential between the interior and exterior of the compartment. The indicator element is caused to move in response to a predetermined change in pressure exceeding a threshold pressure differential. The indicator element includes a distal end that is moved to a position exterior of the housing and the compartment, providing a visual indication of an overpressure condition. A reset feature provided on the indicator can only be accessed by first opening the compartment in which the indicator has been mounted. A spring can be provided to assist in the triggering of the indicator member after the threshold pressure differential has been detected.
