CORRECTION OF PRESSURE MEASUREMENTS IN ENGINES
The present disclosure describes methods and systems for automatically detecting and calculating an offset of an engine-based pressure measurement transducer after engine shutdown, and applying a correction factor to subsequent pressure measurements of the transducer once the engine is in operation.
Pressure measuring device, tap, storage unit and installation comprising such a device
Pressure measuring device, comprising a connector extending along a longitudinal direction around a central longitudinal axis, the connector comprising a first longitudinal end intended to be fixed to an element containing pressurized gas, and a second longitudinal end provided with a diaphragm intended to be subjected to the pressure, the diaphragm comprising a pressure sensor of the piezoelectric type generating an electrical signal representative of the pressure measured, the pressure sensor being connected to an electronics board comprising electronic logic for processing the electrical signal of the sensor, the device furthermore comprising a transmission/reception antenna of the radiofrequency type fitted on the electronics board in order to receive and transmit data from and to the electronic logic, the electronics board being housed in a protective casing fixed to the connector, wherein the antenna is located on or adjacent to an axis passing through the central longitudinal axis of the connector.
Adjustable tire inflation assembly
An adjustable tire inflation assembly for precisely inflating a tire to a desired pressure includes a tire inflation fitting that is fluidly attachable to a valve stem on a tire for inflating the tire. A pressure adjustment unit is integrated into the tire inflation fitting that is settable between a minimum pressure and a maximum pressure. The pressure adjustment unit senses the pressure within the tire when the tire is being inflated with the tire inflation fitting. A light emitter is coupled to the tire inflation fitting and the light emitter is turned on when the pressure adjustment unit senses air pressure within the tire inflation unit that matches the pressure to which the pressure adjustment unit is set. In this way the light emitter alerts the user that the tire has been inflated to the desired pressure.

Pressure data acquisition assembly
A method and assembly for acquiring pressure data. A pressure sensor is applied to a target surface on an individual. A calibrator and a processing element are in communication with the pressure sensor. Processing element receives pressure data and provides an integrated pressure value over a measurement time period. The integrated pressure value is compared to an alert value and to a change condition value. Where an alert value is exceeded, an alert is transmitted to an output device for display. Where a change condition value is exceeded, a measurement parameter of the pressure sensor is changed, or the calibrator is applied to the pressure sensor to recalibrate the pressure sensor to a recalibrated pressure range.
Sound emitting bottle cap
The present disclosure describes speech or sound-emulating bottle cap apparatuses and systems and methods for manufacture thereof. It will be understood that a bottle cap prohibits gases from escaping a pressurized bottle. Ordinarily, when the cap is removed from the bottle, the escaping gas will emit a sound, but the sound carries no discernable meaning, cognizable message or recognizable sound (aside from gas simply escaping a pressurized container). Embodiments described herein harness gas escaping from a bottle (when the cap is removed) to generate a discernable meaning, cognizable message or otherwise recognizable sound. The sound-chamber may be wrapped or twisted into a coil or helix shape (in addition or as an alternative to miniaturizing it). A coil or helix shape permits recovery of the original sound quality of the initially modeled sound-chamber, resulting in “a sound-emitting cap-chamber” removably or permanently coupled to a bottle cap or bottle as described herein.

Pressure sensor
The invention concerns a pressure sensor including means of sensing pressure and converting pressure into an electrical signal able to be transmitted by an electrical circuit to an control interface circuit of an indicator device, wherein said sensing and conversion means include: a closed volume and a liquid contained in the closed volume, said liquid being electrically conductive and capable of moving inside said closed volume, at least one sensing member arranged inside the closed volume in a given position in said volume, said sensing member including at least one pair of electrodes and cooperating with the liquid when said liquid moves in the closed volume, so that said electrical circuit is closed when the liquid passes said sensing member. The pressure sensor is intended to be integrated in a pressure measuring device, particularly a timepiece.
