The sensor unit has a pressure receiving portion, a plurality of conduction terminals, and a mold resin portion. The case has a fluid flow path and a housing recess. A buffer recess having an outer shape larger than the outer shape of a pressure receiving surface is formed at a pressure receiving side L1 of the bottom of the housing recess. Further, a protruding cylinder portion protruding into the buffer recess toward a back side L2 is formed at an outer edge of an opening end portion of the fluid flow path on the back side L2.

The passageway is connected at one end to the chamber and connected at another end to an opening disposed at the distal end of the housing. The opening is configured to be in fluidic communication with the fluid media. A pressure sensor and a first temperature sensor are disposed within the chamber. A viscous gel is disposed within the chamber, the viscous gel separating on a first side both the pressure sensor and the first temperature sensor apart from the passageway on a second side of the viscous gel. The chamber can include a non-smooth surface to increase viscous gel adhesion.

A method for the manufacturing of a carrying device for reception of at least one sensor is presented, in which a receiving body with a surface to be coated is provided. In the receiving body, a space is provided which is open on the side of this surface. A second body with a sealing surface is provided. This sealing surface is positioned in such a manner that the surface to be coated of the receiving body is sealed by the second body at least in the circumference of the space in the receiving body. A formable or moldable filling material is provided in the space in such a manner that the filling material forms a surface shaped complementary to the sealing surface of the second body, closing the space. At least the volume of the filling material contacting the sealing surface of the second body is solidified. The sealing surface of the second body is removed from the surface to be coated as well as from the surface provided by the filling material. The surface to be coated is coated such that a membrane is provided, sealing the space.

The sensor includes a tubular body including an elastic insulation and having a hollow portion along a longitudinal direction, and not less than two conductive ribs including an elastic conductor and helically provided along an inner circumferential surface of the hollow portion of the tubular body so as to protrude inward from the inner circumferential surface.

Mechanical resistance of the movable component is achieved using a calibrated spring or similar mechanical resistance element. The movable part consists of a pressure plate attached to a scaled cylindrical core, calibrated to provide measurements of the external concrete or liquid pressure. The movable component and mechanical resistance element are installed in a casing with flanges to attach the apparatus to the formwork or vessel.
