Disclosed is a system and method for monitoring a characteristic of an environment of an electronic device. The electronic device may include a printed circuit board and a component. A sensor is placed on the printed circuit board, and may be between the component and the board, and connects to a monitor, or detector. An end user device may be used to store, assess, display and understand the data received from the sensor through the monitor.

A sensor device includes a printed circuit board (PCB) substrate having a top surface, a bottom surface, a slot between the top and bottom surfaces, and two holes through the top surface and reaching into the slot. The sensor device further includes a sensor chip mounted on the top surface of the PCB substrate and above one of the two holes. The sensor device further includes a molding compound covering the sensor chip and sidewall surfaces and the top surface of the PCB substrate.

A physical quantity measuring device includes a sensor module; a joint attached with the sensor module; a connector configured to be connected to a first or a second cylindrical case and the joint; a circuit substrate attached with an electronic circuit configured to receive a signal detected by the sensor module; and a holder holding the circuit substrate. The holder can be housed in the first cylindrical case in a first posture where a first end is engaged with a first connector and a second end is in contact with a first cover, or in a second cylindrical case in a second posture where the first end is engaged with a second cover and the second end is in contact with a second connector. The holder has an engaging projection engageable with a first engagement groove provided to the first connector and a second engagement groove provided to the second cover.

The present disclosure provides a transparent pressure sensor including: a first substrate on which a micropattern having pyramidal structures is formed; a first electrode layer coated on the micropattern of the first substrate; a second substrate stacked on the first electrode layer; and a second electrode layer stacked on the second substrate, wherein the first substrate and the second substrate show a difference in light refractive index of 10% or less in the visible light region.

The invention relates to a pressure measurement device (1) comprising: a pressure sensor (3) for securing to an element having a pressure that is to be measured; and a stationary portion (5) facing a path of the sensor so as to be in resonant high frequency AC electrical relationship with the sensor in order to power the sensor and in order to receive measurements acquired by the sensor. The invention also relates to a measurement system including such a measurement device.
Physical quantity measurement device
A device which measures a physical quantity of a gas flowing through a main passage is described. The device includes a flange for fixing to the main passage; a housing that protrudes toward an inside of the main passage from the flange; and a printed circuit board fixed to the housing on which a measuring element that measures the physical quantity is mounted. Wiring of the printed circuit board has a plurality of irregularities formed along one direction of a surface, and the wiring is arranged such that a formation direction of the irregularities is oriented along a protruding direction of the housing toward an inside of the main passage. The irregularities may be polishing marks formed using a cylindrical polishing wheel or rolling marks of the wiring of the printed circuit board.
Pressure sensor
In a pressure sensor including a substrate supported by input-output terminals, the substrate is provided with a circular hole located substantially at its central part, and an arc-shaped communication hole formed adjacent to three through-holes to which three of lead pins are inserted and fixed, respectively.

A physical-quantity-measuring device includes: an outer-case including a bottom and a cylindrical body; a synthetic-resin-made inner-case provided inside the outer-case; a detector that detects a physical quantity; a terminal base including a terminal for transmitting a signal from the detector outward; a cover covering an opening of the outer-case and being different in hardness from the inner-case; a cable whose first end is connected to the terminal; and a cylindrical-cable-drawing portion drawing a second end of the cable and projecting from a circumferential surface of the outer-case. The inner case includes: a case threaded-portion; and a terminal-base-setting portion on which the terminal base is set. The detector includes: a bottom connector connected to the bottom; and a joint attachable to a target. The cover includes: a cover body covering the terminal-base-setting portion; and a cover threaded-portion provided to the cover body and screwable with the case threaded-portion.
