Device for testing the sealing of at least one system for insulating two mediums in a sealed manner, the system including a flange and a sealed door mounted in the flange, the test device including a casing including an inflatable seal intended to contact, in the inflated state, with the system and to ensure a sealing enabling the definition of a test volume between the system and the casing, a pneumatic pump and a pneumatic circuit configured to connect, in a first step, the pump to the inflatable seal such that the pump inflates the inflatable seal, and in a second step the pump to the test volume such that the pump generates in the test volume a pressure at a given value, and sensor for measuring the pressure in the test volume.

A system for leak testing an envelope for a tire assembly can include a rim, an envelope sized to accommodate a green tire assembly and secured to the rim, a vacuum system in fluid communication with the envelope, and a controller. The controller can be configured to pressurize the envelope to a predetermined pressure, compare a slope of pressure over time to a predetermined value, and enable proceeding with a depressurization of the envelope responsive to determining the slope of the pressure over time being more than or equal to the predetermined value.

Disclosed is a bag including: a first envelope having at least one fill and/or discharge orifice for a biopharmaceutical fluid and a fill and/or discharge tube associated in a fluidtight manner with the fill and/or discharge orifice, a second envelope within which the first envelope is located, and a spacer element. The first envelope, the second envelope, and the spacer element form a coherent whole, in particular during use of the bag, and the fill and/or discharge tube traverses the second envelope by a fluidtight connection, the fill and/or discharge inlet being located outside the second envelope.

A facemask configured to be used by multiple sized/shaped heads can include a primary, a secondary and a tertiary seal. In some embodiments, the primary seal is contact with the nose and cheek regions; the secondary seal is in contact with the chin region; and the tertiary seal is in contact with the cheek and chin regions. In some embodiments, the tertiary seal extends inwardly and outwardly when applied to the face. In some embodiments, the mask includes test scissors.

Method and machine for generating packages from a continuous film. In the method, the quality of the seals formed when generating packages on the film is furthermore verified, and to that end, a chamber is closed around an area of a film tube comprising an actuation area, a transverse cut and a transverse seal on each side of the transverse cut being generated in the actuation area. For the verification, pressure in the chamber is reduced, a property of the fluid present in the chamber or in the part of the tube present in the chamber is detected, and the quality of at least one of the seals present in the chamber is determined depending on the detection.

A method for improving reliability of an integrity or leak test includes determining at least one first parameter indicative of: a first volume of a sample, a first temperature of the sample, a first pressure of the sample and/or a first assessment of integrity of the sample. The method further determines at least one second parameter indicative of a deviation from the first parameter and at least one third parameter indicative of a second assessment of the integrity of the sample. The second assessment provides an indication of a passed or failed test. The method further determines whether the deviation has an impact on the indication of the second assessment. When the deviation is determined to have an impact on the indication of the second assessment, the method comprises identifying a possibility that the indication of the second assessment is incorrect.

A system which evaluates a reliability of piping connections with gaskets is provided. A gasket connection reliability evaluation system includes: a measurement value acquisition unit configured to acquire a measurement value obtained through measurement by a sensor provided in a system including piping connections with gaskets; a simulation unit configured to simulate a behavior of a fluid flowing through the system on the basis of the measurement value and calculate a state quantity relating to the fluid; a loading analysis unit configured to analyze a loading applied to each of the gaskets on the basis of the measurement value and the state quantity and calculate a connection index of the gasket; a fatigue analysis unit configured to analyze a fatigue state of the gasket on the basis of the measurement value, the state quantity, the loading applied to the gasket, and a specifications and condition of the gasket connection and calculate a deterioration index of the gasket; and a reliability evaluation unit configured to calculate a reliability of the gasket on the basis of the measurement value, the state quantity, the connection index, the deterioration index, and a predetermined reliability evaluation model.

An apparatus and method is provided for the detection of a leak between a container and a flexible cover secured about an opening in the container. The apparatus comprises a vacuum chamber for receiving the container, a pressure indicating sensor coupled to a controller; and a sensor support. The sensor is positioned on the sensor support wherein, in operation, the sensor is located in close proximity to the container cover such that when the container is within the vacuum chamber and subjected to a vacuum condition, gases within the container cause the cover to expand at the location of a leak between the cover and the container. Upon contact with the cover the sensor generates a signal received by the controller to indicate both the detection and the location of the leak about the opening in the container.
