MEASURING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR GAS SOLUBILITY IN NATURAL GAS HYDRATE SOLUTION SYSTEM
The present invention belongs to the field of gas solubility measurement, and provides a measuring device and method for gas solubility in a natural gas hydrate solution system. The measuring device mainly comprises a reaction system, a sampling system and a data analysis system. The present invention can be used for measuring gas solubility in a natural gas hydrate solution system at different temperature, pressure and salt ion conditions, and exploring influence of different environmental conditions on the gas solubility when hydrate-liquid water biphase equilibrium is achieved. The present invention in characterized in that the structure is simple, the operation is easy, sampling is carried out at a constant pressure to avoid damage to phase equilibrium and dissolution equilibrium of the systems, and a microfilter is used to ensure that a liquid sample taken does not contain hydrate crystals, so that experimental data has a relatively high accuracy.
Method and device of using aqueous two-phase systems (ATPS) for enhancing diagnostics for sexually transmitted infections
This invention relates to a method and device for improving the accuracy and performance of detecting or diagnosing sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or STI-causing pathogens. In one embodiment, the present method and device are related to removing one or more interfering molecules such as urea from urine sample, where these interfering molecules alter the performance of Lateral-Flow Immunoassay (LFA). In one embodiment, an aqueous two-phase system (ATPS) embedded entirely within a porous material allows spontaneous phase separation and the target STI-causing pathogens is concentrated in one of the separated phases. In one embodiment, a detection module such as the Lateral-Flow Immunoassay (LFA) is used in connection with other modules so as to detect or diagnose the sexually transmitted infections or the pathogens associated with STIs with an improved performance.

PREFILTERS FOR PARTICLE CONCENTRATORS
Devices, systems and methods are disclosed which relate to a prefiltration device that can be used with the concentrating pipette instruments and other devices which draw a sample in through one opening and dispense a concentrated or eluted sample out through the same opening. The device allows the sample to be passed through a prefilter when entering the opening and then bypassed the prefilter when being dispensed through the same opening.

Automatic analyzer and method for washing sample-pipetting probe
When the type is to be changed from serum (preceding sample) to urine (current sample), “serum” is set to a preceding type and “urine” is set to a measurement type at number 1 in a condition number. At condition number 1, the wash type is pattern 1, with washing performed once with detergent 1. Where the preceding sample is serum and the current sample is CSF, the condition number is 2 and the wash type is pattern 2, with washing performed twice using detergent 1 and once with detergent 2. Where the preceding sample is urine and the current sample is CSF, the condition number is 3 and the wash type is pattern 3, with washing performed once with detergent 1, once with detergent 2, and once with water. In the case of pattern 4, washing is performed three times with detergent 1.
