Apparatus for multi-specimen test instrument
Described are a test device, a multi-specimen test fixture star and a multi-specimen test fixture. The test device includes a bath chamber that is automatically replenished with bath liquid throughout an extended test period. The multi-specimen test fixture star is non-circularly symmetric and can be used, for example, in a rectangular bath chamber to hold a greater number of test specimens than a circularly symmetric test fixture star. The multi-specimen test fixture includes, in part, a multi-specimen test fixture star and a shaft having one or more keyways and enables the test fixture star to be repositioned along the shaft without loss of rotational alignment to the shaft.

SYSTEM FOR MEASURING PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF ELECTRODE SPECIMEN USING MASKING TAPE, AND METHOD FOR MEASURING PHYSICAL PROPERTIES USING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a system and method for measuring physical properties of an electrode specimen. According to the present disclosure, it is possible to suppress a slipping phenomenon of an electrode specimen and prevent disconnection of a gripping portion during a tensile test for the electrode specimen by forming a tape on the gripping portion of the electrode specimen and forming a grid pattern on the surface of a pressing jig.
Methods and apparatus for determining a crush strength of an edge
A test apparatus comprises a probe movably mounted relative to a carrier. The probe comprises an end portion with a surface area of about 5 mm.sup.2 or less. The test apparatus can be used in methods of determining a crush strength of an edge of a substrate. Methods can comprise aligning the probe with a test location of the substrate at a predetermined angle relative to a probe axis. Methods can further comprise applying a mechanical force to the test location with the probe in the direction of the probe axis. Also, methods can comprise increasing the mechanical force applied by the probe until the substrate cracks or a predefined force applied by the probe is reached. Based on the mechanical force applied by the probe, a crush strength of an edge can be determined.
