An article for use with a smoking device that is configured to be insertable into a chamber defined in the smoking device. The article includes an air-permeable filter member that comprises plant-based material that permits a user to combust a smoking device's contents. Upon combustion of a smoking device's contents, the combustible smoking filter may also combust and be smoked.

The present invention is directed to a smoking pipe having an elastic body that defines an air passage. Preferably the elastic body is formed of a heat resistant silicone. The elastic body included a bowl receiving portion and a stem which define an air passage. The pipe has multiple compartments wherein a user can smoke the smoking material in one compartment while the smoking material in the other compartments remains undisturbed. The multi-compartment smoking pipe allows for a user to select from different smokable substances.
