Dual-filter dual-integrity test assembly
A dual-filter dual-integrity test conduit assembly allows for in-situ testing of both filters with separate, duplicate systems for membrane integrity so that if the first tester filter fails, the second filter may be tested with a different, but identical method with its own gauges and nitrogen supply so as to further isolate malfunctions of the filter integrity test equipment as a cause for erroneous batch failures.

INTERFACE MODULE FOR FILTER INTEGRITY TESTING
A testing apparatus employs an interface module removably attached to a filter testing device. The interface module includes a first flowpath communicating with an outlet of the testing device and a housing of the filter device, a first valve disposed in the first flowpath, a second flowpath communicating with the housing of the filter device and an exhaust, a second valve disposed in the second flowpath, and an enclosure enclosing the first flowpath, the first valve, the second flowpath, and the second valve. The interface module is cleanable and/or sterilizable, and replaceable. A filter integrity testing method uses an interface module to prevent contamination of the testing device and cross-contamination of different filter devices and avoid liquid ingress into the testing device.

A particulate filter having a porous ceramic honeycomb structure with a first end, a second end, and a plurality of walls having wall surfaces defining a plurality of inner channels. Filtration material deposits are disposed on one or more of the wall surfaces of the honeycomb body. The highly porous deposits provide durable high clean filtration efficiency with small impact on pressure drop through the filter.
IOT ENABLED SMART FILTER DEVICE
The present invention provides a smart air filter blockage detection and alert communication system for use with filters in air circulation systems such as HVAC, vehicles, server systems, and dryers. The system attached to the frame of a filter comprises a light source, a light sensor, two actuators and a control unit. The control unit based on a stored program or an external command activates the actuators to place the source and the sensor devices attached to the two arms of the actuators on the two sides of the filter membrane. The sensor measures the light intensity transmitted through the filter. The control unit upon receiving the intensity data determines the filter blockage level and communicates alert to the user when the blockage exceeds a predetermined value. The system uses a 4G or a 5G IoT network capability for data collection and communication with servers and user devices.

An air filter includes filter media, a sensor, and circuitry coupled to the sensor, the circuitry configured to receive data from the sensor representative of the condition of the filter media and wirelessly transmit such data. The data may be received by a device with a display to use the information to present an indication of the filter media condition to a user.

A method of integrity testing a porous material is disclosed, providing a porous material suitable for filtration to be tested, said porous material having a first surface and a second surface; wetting said porous material with a wetting liquid; providing a gas stream comprising at least first and second gases humidified with said wetting liquid below the saturation vapor pressure of said wetting liquid and wherein said humidified gas stream has a humidity of 50-99%; introducing said gas stream to said first surface of said porous material; causing said first and second gases to flow through said porous material; measuring the concentration of at least one of said first and second gases in the permeate stream exiting said second surface of said porous material; and comparing the measured concentration to a predetermined concentration.
