CELL EVALUATION DEVICE, CELL EVALUATION METHOD, AND CELL EVALUATION PROGRAM
Disclosed are a cell evaluation device, a cell evaluation method, and a non-transitory computer readable recording medium recorded with a cell evaluation program capable of evaluating individual cells in a cell image obtained by imaging a cell group with high accuracy. The cell evaluation device includes an image acquisition unit 30 that acquires a cell image obtained by imaging a cell group; a cell evaluation unit 32 that specifies an evaluation target cell and peripheral cells around the evaluation target cell in the cell group and evaluates the evaluation target cell based on evaluation results of the peripheral cells.
Breach or contamination indicating article
Provided among other things is a breach or contamination indicating elastomeric article for indicating a breach or contamination by a selected chemical or group of chemicals, the article having an exterior and interior and comprising: (a) an interior elastomeric layer selected to resist permeation by the selected chemical(s), which interior layer is colored; and (b) a contiguous or dis-contiguous indicating layer comprising solid particles of hydrophobic dye effective to provide enhanced color on contacting hexane, cyclohexane, xylene, ethyl ether, butyl acetate, MIBK, methanol, acetonitrile and acetic acid; wherein the distribution of the indicating layer provides for a visually noticeable color change against the background of the colored interior elastomeric layer upon a breach or contamination event by a selected chemical.
MULTI-STAGE SAMPLE RECOVERY SYSTEM
Multi-stage sample-recovery systems, including automated 2-stage and 3-stage sample-recovery systems, are provided. Such systems enable the rapid screening and recovery of samples, including viable cell-based samples, from high-throughput screening systems, including systems utilizing large-scale arrays of microcapillaries. In specific screening systems, each microcapillary comprises a solution containing a variant protein, an immobilized target molecule, and a reporter element. Immobilized target molecules may include any molecule of interest, including proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and other biomolecules. The association of a variant protein with a molecular target is assessed by measuring a signal from the reporter element. The contents of microcapillaries identified in the assays as containing variant proteins of interest can be identified and recovered using the multi-stage systems disclosed herein.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
There is provided an apparatus to predict a reaction amount of a third fluid flowing through a third flow channel obtained by a first fluid flowing through a first flow channel and a second fluid flowing through a second flow channel being mixed and reacted with each other, the apparatus comprising: an acquisition unit which acquires a first fluid spectrum of the first fluid, a second fluid spectrum of the second fluid, and a third fluid spectrum of the third fluid; a calculation unit which calculates a difference spectrum between the third fluid spectrum and a total spectrum of the first fluid spectrum and the second fluid spectrum; and a prediction unit which predicts a reaction amount of the third fluid using the difference spectrum.
Colorimetric measurement of fludioxonil
A process for determining the fludioxonil content in a liquid medium by performing a color reaction with [4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methanol (p-DAB) or 4-Dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde (DMACA) and an acid in the presence of fludioxonil and obtaining a colorimetric reading for the resulting mixture after a period of time.
