DATA PROCESSING DEVICE, DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM, DATA PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
According to one embodiment, a data processing device receives welding device data from a welding device. The welding device makes a joined body by joining a plurality of parts. The welding device data includes a welding device ID for identifying the welding device. The data processing device receives inspection data. The inspection data includes position data and angle data. The position data is of a position of a weld portion of the joined body. The position data are calculated from a result of a probe of the joined body. The probe uses an ultrasonic wave. The angle data is of an angle of the weld portion. The data processing device associates the inspection data with the welding device data.
ULTRASONIC MICRO-ARRAY IMAGING SYSTEM
A spot-welding electrode assembly includes an electrode, an electrode cap at an outer end of the electrode, and a plurality of transducer elements positioned inward of the electrode cap. The transducer elements may be micro-elements. A method for monitoring a weld formed by a spot-welder includes passing current from an electrode assembly through a stack-up, transmitting an ultrasonic wave from each of a plurality of sources in the electrode assembly to a plurality of points in the stack-up, and monitoring the ultrasonic waves to monitor the weld formation.
Display control system, inspection control system, display control method, and storage medium
According to one embodiment, a display control system acquires a tilt of a detector with respect to a weld portion. The detector includes a plurality of detection elements arranged along a first arrangement direction and a second arrangement direction. The first arrangement direction and the second arrangement direction cross each other. The tilt is calculated based on a detection result of a reflected wave obtained by transmitting an ultrasonic wave from the plurality of detection elements. The system displays a user interface, displays a symbol and a tolerance range in a region included in the user interface, and updates the display of the symbol in the region according to the acquiring of the tilt. The region spreads two-dimensionally. The symbol indicates the tilt. The tolerance range is of a target value of the tilt.
SYSTEM FOR AUDIBLY DETECTING PRECURSORS OF MATERIAL FRACTURE FOR A SPECIMEN UNDER TEST
A system for determining a trigger amplitude indicating a precursor to a material fracture in a specimen under test includes a microphone converting acoustic emission emitted by the specimen under test into electrical signals. A load is exerted upon the specimen under test and the acoustic emission are emitted when the load causes the specimen under test to undergo deformation prior to the material fracture. A control module is in electrical communication with the microphone and executes instructions to monitor the electrical signals generated by the microphone and filter the electrical signals generated by the microphone. The control module converts the electrical signals generated by the microphone into individual frequency components based on a fast Fourier Transform (FFT). The individual frequency components each include a peak intensity. The control module determines the trigger amplitude based on the peak intensity of the individual frequency components of the FFT.
THICK-FILM TRANSDUCER ARRAYS AND CONTROL FIELD
A method of fabricating and controlling a thick-film transducer array for steering and focusing ultrasonic waves within a substrate volume is provided. A ceramic film composition can be coated on a substrate volume in one or more layers. The ceramic film can be masked with a plastic sheet out of which an electrode pattern is cut. Conductive electrode material can be applied to the pattern to create a transducer array that can be polarized with an applied electric field. A method of controlling a thick-film transducer array comprises exciting one or more array elements to generate a wavefield in a substrate volume, the wavefield can be reflected by features within the substrate volume, one or more array elements can receive reflected wavefield signals, and images of the insonified substrate volume can be generated.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EVALUATING ELECTROLYTE WETTING AND DISTRIBUTION
Systems and techniques for measuring process characteristics including electrolyte distribution in a battery cell. A non-destructive method for analyzing a battery cell includes determining acoustic features at two or more locations of the battery cell, the acoustic features based on one or more of acoustic signals travelling through at least one or more portions of the battery cell during one or more points in time or responses to the acoustic signals obtained during one or more points in time, wherein the one or more points in time correspond to one or more stages of electrolyte distribution in the battery cell. One or more characteristics of the battery cell are determined based on the acoustic features at the two or more locations of the battery cell.
INSPECTION DEVICE, INSPECTION METHOD, AND INSPECTION PROGRAM
Determination of presence or absence of a defect having irregular position, size, shape, and/or the like in an image are made automatically. An inspection device includes: an inspection image obtaining section that obtains an inspection image used to determine presence or absence of an internal defect in an inspection target; and a defect presence/absence determining section that determines presence or absence of a defect with use of a restored image generated by inputting the inspection image into a generative model constructed by machine learning that uses, as training data, an image of an inspection target in which a defect is absent, the generative model being constructed so as to generate a new image having a similar feature to that of an image input into the generative model.

To further reduce the computational load in an inspection process of ultrasonic inspection of an inspection target. An ultrasonic inspection method includes the steps of: collecting data as a result of scanning an inspection target in such a manner that a plurality of probes transmit ultrasonic signals to the inspection target and the probes receive reflected ultrasonic signals from the inspection target; rendering a primary image including a contour and an internal side of the inspection target based on the data as the result of scanning by using a sonic speed of the ultrasonic signals transmitted and received by the probes, the sonic speed being set to a predetermined value regardless of a region through which the ultrasonic signals have passed; and evaluating whether an internal flaw is present in the inspection target in the primary image.
