Acoustic sensor having waveguide and inspection device
A sensor includes a first element part having a first member and a first element. The first member is a acoustic tubular waveguide and extends along a first direction. The acoustic tubular waveguide includes a first opening and a second opening. A direction from the second opening toward the first opening is along the first direction. The first element includes a vibratile first membrane, and a first supporter supporting the first membrane. The second opening is between the first opening and the first membrane in the first direction. The sensor may be a Piezoelectric Micro electro mechanical systems Ultrasonic Transducer and may be used for inspecting paper and/or resin including detecting thickness of a fed through banknote and/or the presence of foreign matter thereon such as tape. An optical element may alternatively measure the vibration of a membrane from acoustic through transmission instead of an acoustic receiver.
ACOUSTIC SIGNATURE MANAGEMENT ENGINE IN AN OBJECT INTEGRITY SENSING SYSTEM
Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing an indication of an integrity of an object based on a non-invasive assessment of the integrity of the object using acoustic signature management engine in object integrity sensing system. In operation, an aggregate object-intermediate-medium sound of an object in an intermediate medium is detected (e.g., via sensors). An acoustic signature of the aggregate object-intermediate-medium sound is generated as a processed acoustic channel associated with statistical measurements. A reference acoustic signature of the object and intermediate medium is accessed. The reference acoustic signature is associated with an acoustic signature computation model, that generates reference acoustic signatures based on a mean and standard deviation measurements of input signals transmitted through the object and intermediate medium. A determination whether the object has impaired integrity is determined based on a quantified difference between the acoustic signature of the aggregate object-intermediate-medium sound and the reference acoustic signature.
SENSOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING AMOUNTS OF DIFFERENT MOLECULES IN BIOLOGICAL LIQUID
The present invention discloses a sensor system for estimating respective amounts of different molecules in a biological liquid, and the sensor system includes: an electronic circuit module and a Shear Horizontal Surface Acoustic Wave (SH-SAW) sensor, wherein the electronic circuit module has more than two different impedance matching circuits for exciting and detecting a plurality of Surface Acoustic Waves (SAWs) with different frequencies, and the SH-SAW sensor has at least one transducer and a surface on which the plurality of SAWs propagate, and wherein the surface is covered with a probe to be bound with more than two different molecules.
RESONANCE DETECTION SYSTEM
A resonance detection system includes a vibration simulation mechanism and a vibration audio analysis device. The vibration simulation mechanism includes a mechanism body that accommodates a peripheral interface device. The vibration simulation mechanism generates a vibration wave to the peripheral interface device. The peripheral interface device generates a vibration audio signal in response to the vibration wave. The vibration audio analysis device is electrically connected with the vibration simulation mechanism. After the vibration audio signal is inputted into the vibration audio analysis device, the vibration audio analysis device judges whether there is an abnormal resonance phenomenon in the vibration audio signal. The vibration simulation mechanism further includes a patch-type audio collector, which is electrically connected with the vibration audio analysis device. The patch-type audio collector is attached on the mechanism body containing the peripheral interface device. The vibration audio signal is collected by the patch-type audio collector.
