A method, computer system, and a computer program product for lifecycle prediction is provided. The present invention may include identifying a unit of a product that has been selected from a store bin. The present invention may include retrieving data from at least one connected Internet of Things (IoT) device and a connected infrared scanner. The present invention may include predicting a lifecycle of the identified unit. The present invention may include displaying the lifecycle on the at least one connected IoT device or the infrared scanner. The present invention may include determining whether the unit is added to a cart. The present invention may lastly include pushing the collected data to a point of sale for generating data at checkout.
Systems and methods for indicating the time elapsed since the occurrence of a triggering event
Described are systems and methods which can be used to indicate the period of time elapsed since the occurrence of a triggering event. More particularly, this application relates to systems and methods which can be used to visually indicate the time period elapsed since an article has been removed from its packaging. The system can include an indicator disposed on or within the article and a trigger disposed within the receptacle and in contact with the indicator. The article may be enclosed within a sealable receptacle of the package. The indicator is responsive to a change in a concentration of the trigger in contact with the indicator.
Method and system for determining product freshness
The method and system can include freezer and refrigeration units that are equipped with thermostats or modules for controlling and monitoring the temperatures inside the units. The thermostats may be communicatively coupled to a printer used for inventory labeling and date information. The thermostats may also include a variety of alarms that may be triggered. The method and system may provide a label that shows that any food products stored in the refrigeration and freezer units was maintained at a predetermined or desired temperature range during the storage period. The label can thus provide an indicator of freshness where one or more indicia may be printed thereon showing that the food product was properly stored, a temperature range during the storage period, duration of the storage period, expected shelf life of the food product, and the like.
Temperature Sensing Material, and Temperature Deviation Time Estimating System Employing Same
An object of the present invention is to provide a temperature sensing material that changes a color density continuously with the lapse of time at a temperature not lower or higher than a predetermined temperature and a temperature deviation time estimating system using it. In order to achieve the above object, the temperature sensing material according to the present invention is a temperature sensing material having a structure of dispersing a temperature indicating material that changes color by crystallization in a dispersion medium and is characterized in that an average particle size of the temperature indicating material is not larger than a resolution when observed and a volume fraction of the temperature indicating material to the temperature sensing material is not less than 5% to less than 90%.
Printable time-temperature indicator system
The present invention relates to a time-temperature indicator (TTI) system suitable for monitoring the time and temperature to which storage sensitive products have been exposed. The TTI system is inexpensive to produce, the response to time and temperature is given in a visually and easily interpretable manner and the visual design is easily adaptable.
Electronic Quality Indicator
A visually sensible indicator of temperature including electronic temperature sensing circuitry sensing at least when a temperature exceeds at least one predetermined temperature threshold and providing at least one corresponding threshold exceedance output which is sensible as heat and a heat-responsive visually sensible display which is responsive to the at least one threshold exceedance output for providing at least one visually sensible indication indicating that the temperature has exceeded the predetermined temperature threshold.
Chemical indicator for monitoring hydrogen peroxide sterilization and disinfection processes
This invention relates to a chemical indicator for monitoring a vaporous hydrogen peroxide sterilization process. The chemical indicator comprises a reactive composition adhered to a substrate, the reactive composition comprising a transition metal reagent, an oxidizing agent, and a resin. A test pack containing the chemical indicator and a biological indicator is disclosed. Vaporous hydrogen peroxide sterilization processes using the chemical indicator and the test pack are disclosed.
Package for indicating heat-seal condition
The present invention is directed to heat-seal condition indicating packages having a first sealing substrate comprising a leuco dye and a second sealing substrate comprising a leuco dye developer, and a leuco dye sensitizer which dissolves both the leuco dye and the leuco dye developer when melted which is disposed in or on the surface of either the first or second sealing substrata or disposed in or on the surface of both the first and second sealing substrates. The packages of the present invention further include a heat-seal produced between the first sealing substrate and the second sealing substrate which comprises a heat-seal defect-free state which produces a visible color change within the heat-seal after heat sealing, and/or a heat-seal defect state which produces no visible color change within the heat-seal after heat sealing.
System and Method for Qualitative and Quantitative Detection of Substance on Surfaces
A surface wipe for the detection of harmful substances on surfaces by producing uniform color change and a color comparator to determine the concentration of harmful substance collected on the wipe by comparing the intensity and hue of the uniform color on the wipe to a calibrated color scale related to specific concentration of the target harmful substance. In operation, the wipe is held from the handle to swipe a suspect surface. The pressure applied by fingers at certain areas on the rigid or flexible top support member of the wipe during the swiping process is transferred to the flexible wipe body. The flexible body of the wipe uniformly distribute the pressure applied by fingers throughout its mass and/or take the shape of irregular and uneven surface allowing the collection and color forming assembly to produce uniform color change that can be quantified by the color comparator.
Time and/or temperature sensitive devices and methods of use thereof
An apparatus, system and method for a time temperature indicator (TTI) which is capable of providing a summary of the time and temperature history of a good to which it is coupled, optionally including with regard to providing an indication as to whether one or more temperature thresholds have been breached. According to other embodiments, the TTI specifically provides an indication as to whether a temperature threshold at or around the freeze point has been breached, optionally even without providing a time and temperature history.
