The specification discloses a method for containing spills on shelving and the like, and the resulting support members made in accordance with the method, by providing the generally flat top surface of a support with a hydrophobic surface which is arranged in a spill containment pattern and which is generally in the plane of the top surface of the support. The majority of the top surface of the support consists of one or more spill containment areas which are of a non-hydrophobic nature and which are bounded by the hydrophobic surfaces, such that spills on the shelving collect in the non-hydrophobic spill containment area or areas and are prevented from spreading by the hydrophobic surfaces.

A deck panel for a retail shelving system is provided. The deck panel includes a panel and a region of strengthening ribbing. The panel has a top surface configured for supporting retail merchandise and a bottom surface. The region of strengthening ribbing includes a plurality of ribs extending outward from the bottom surface of the panel. The bottom surface of the panel has a border region that extends around the region of strengthening ribbing on at least three sides. The deck panel may be part of a shelf which may be part of a shelving system.

A rack installation support configured to be releasably cantilever-mounted to a vertical rack rail of a rack. A proximal end of a body of the rack installation support comprises an attachment portion configured to be cantilever-mounted to the vertical rack rail in use. The distal end is configured to be a free end that extends into a void space of the rack and the body has an upper support surface for supporting an electronics equipment module. A retaining mechanism is provided for releasably retaining the attachment portion in contact with the rack rail.

A wall mounting apparatus and a method of manufacturing portions thereof. The wall mounting apparatus includes an article having a rear surface with at least one recess, a mounting component having a front surface with a mounting channel, a rear surface, and a peripheral surface, and a mounting bracket. The mounting component is positioned in the recess of the article with the rear surface of the mounting component facing the floor of the recess and bonded to the article with a bonding agent disposed between the peripheral surface of the mounting component and the sidewall of the recess of the article. The article is mounted to the wall via sliding engagement between the article and the mounting bracket while the mounting bracket is mounted to the wall and at least partially located within the mounting channel of the mounting component.

A shelf support assembly includes a longitudinal post and a shelf bracket. The longitudinal post is attached upright to a vertical surface and includes a front surface that extends from a base of the post. The post includes two opposing longitudinal flanges each extending from a lateral side of the front surface. Each of the two opposing longitudinal flanges include a plurality of concentric flange holes. The shelf bracket is attached in a cantilevered arrangement to the longitudinal post. The shelf bracket includes a support surface and a support arm extending vertically away from an end of the support surface. A shelf includes a bottom plate, a vertical plate, and a side plate. The bottom plate and the vertical plate are pivotally connected through a pivot mechanism and a first restricting mechanism that are disposed at a pivot joint of the bottom plate and the vertical plate. The pivot mechanism includes a rotating shaft disposed on the bottom plate and a first engaging hook disposed on the vertical plate. The first engaging hook is configured to catch the rotating shaft.
