Systems and Methods for Collecting and Transmitting Assay Results
Systems and methods are provided for collecting, preparing, and/or analyzing a biological sample. A sample collection site may be utilized with one or more sample processing device. The sample processing device may be configured to accept a sample from a subject. The sample processing device may perform one or more sample preparation step and/or chemical reaction involving the sample. Data related to the sample may be sent from the device to a laboratory. The laboratory may be a certified laboratory that may generate a report that is transmitted to a health care professional. The health care professional may rely on the report for diagnosing, treating, and/or preventing a disease in the subject.
Sample analyzer and method for replacing light source unit
Disclosed is a sample analyzer including: a transport apparatus configured to transport a sample rack holding a sample container; and a measurement apparatus body configured to measure a sample in the sample container held in the sample rack transported by the transport apparatus, wherein the transport apparatus includes a light source holding unit configured to detachably hold a light source unit, and the measurement apparatus body includes a detection unit configured to detect, via an analysis specimen containing the sample, light emitted from the light source unit held in the light source holding unit.
REPLACEABLE ALCOHOL SENSOR MODULE
A replaceable alcohol sensor module for use with a breathalyzer. The alcohol sensor module requiring calibration can be removed from the body of the breathalyzer and replaced with a new alcohol sensor module. The alcohol sensor module has at least an alcohol sensor and a circuitry mounted on a PCB that removable connects the replaceable alcohol sensor module to the breathalyzer. The circuitry transmits the signal and/or electrical current generated by the alcohol sensor to a processing unit of the breathalyzer for processing.
Test system
Provided is a test system operable with a simplified structure. A test system includes a first test device and a second test device each of which transports and tests a sample. The test device includes a master control unit, which performs assignment of samples to the first test device and the second test device, and control of a transport operation of the sample assigned to the test device. The test device includes a slave control unit, which controls a transport operation of the sample assigned to the test device by the master control unit.
Modular assay reader device
Certain aspects relate to systems and usage techniques for modular lateral flow assay reader devices that can receive a number of different modules having a barcode scanning input device and optional network connectivity capabilities. A barcode scanning module can provide a simple input method that reduces errors compared to manual data entry. A network connectivity module can enable transmission of test results over a public network for standardizing, tracking and electronically connecting test results from assay reader devices located throughout a network. Such devices can programmatically implement a simplified workflow whereby pressing a single button readies the device for imaging, analyzing, and data storage/transmission and, in some implementations, configures the device to operate in one of a plurality of device operation modes.
NUCLEIC ACID DETECTION METHOD, NUCLEIC ACID DETECTION DEVICE AND MODULE
A module installation unit is capable of installing a plurality of modules capable of accommodating a plurality of tubes containing a sample. A temperature adjusting unit heats and cools the sample in the tube of each module to the temperature required for nucleic acid amplification. An optical detection unit is used commonly by the plurality of modules installed in the module installation unit and which is capable of detecting the amplified nucleic acid of a sample subjected to nucleic acid amplification of a tube by regulating the temperature via the temperature adjusting unit for each module installed in the module installation unit. A moving unit moves the optical detecting unit and module installation unit relative to each other so as to detect the amplified nucleic acid of the sample in a tube of each of the plurality of modules installed in the module installation unit via the optical detection unit.
Automated vault module
A cryogenic storage system provides automated storage and retrieval of samples in a cryogenic environment, as well as automated transfer of individual samples between cryogenic environments. Stored samples are maintained under a cryogenic temperature threshold, while also enabling access to the samples. The samples are organized and tracked by scanning a barcode of each sample. Embodiments may also comprise multiple storage vaults and provide for transfer of individual samples between the storage vaults, as well as between a storage vault and a removable cryogenic storage device.
AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS DEVICE, AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS SYSTEM, AND AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS METHOD FOR ANALYTES
The present invention comprises: an incubator disk 22 upon which a plurality of reaction containers holding a reaction solution being an analyte and a reagent that have been mixed and reacted are mounted; a immunoassay unit 23 that measures the physical properties of the reaction solution; and a planning unit 103 that determines the order for measurement of analyte requested to be executed by the immunoassay unit 23. Measurement by the immunoassay unit 23 includes items having different measurement times. When measurement of sequence items having the longest measurement time will occur at least a prescribed number of times in a row, said prescribed number being at least two, the planning unit 103 provides at least one empty cycle after measurement has occurred at least the prescribed number of times.

Systems and methods are provided for sample processing. A device may be provided, capable of receiving the sample, and performing one or more of a sample preparation, sample assay, and detection step. The device may be capable of performing multiple assays. The device may comprise one or more modules that may be capable of performing one or more of a sample preparation, sample assay, and detection step. The device may be capable of performing the steps using a small volume of sample.
CARTRIDGE CAPABLE OF CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATION AND AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS
A cartridge capable of a centrifugation and an automatic analysis according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: at least two or more sample wells, a centrifugation well, a measuring well, and a tip receiving well, in which a container is formed into a lower portion along a circumference of a circular plate with a predetermined interval, wherein the centrifugation well is sealed with one lid paper along with at least two or more of the sample wells, a blood injection unit is further formed inside of a radius direction for the centrifugation well, the blood injection unit has an outer blood injection hole formed to be spaced inside the centrifugation well in the radius direction, an inclined passage that communicates with the centrifugation well from the outer blood injection hole, and a cover integrally attached to the outer blood injection hole to open and close the blood injection hole.
