This disclosure provides a sample rack, a sample access kit and a sample access system. The sample rack comprises: a rack body for placing a sample container; a position collector configured to acquire a position of the sample container placed on the rack body; and a communicator configured to transmit identification information of the sample rack and the acquired position of the sample container on the rack body. The sample access kit comprises the above-described sample rack and a sample container having an identification disposed thereon. The sample access system comprises the above-described sample access kit and a mobile terminal.

Analytic Device

An analytic device comprising a device housing, a dock to receive a camera enabled mobile electronic device, such as a smartphone and other smart devices, and a processing device to communicate with the mobile electronic device and to control a condition of the assay tube, such as temperature. In another example, the analytic device comprises a device housing and a circuit board. A processing device, a heating block defining a recess to support assay tube, and a resistive heater are surface mounted to the circuit board. A light source and a fan are also provided. A dock may be provided to support a mobile electronic device. The mobile electronic device communicates with the processing device to cause the application of reaction conditions to the assay tube, to perform a PCR procedure, for example. Methods are also disclosed.

A positive pressure unit positively pressurizes the inside of the reagent cooler with respect to a periphery of the reagent cooler when the opening is opened.

An on-line measurement system for aerosol precursors emitted from industrial sources has three parts: online measurement part, pipeline cleaning part and automatic control part. The system includes: a particulate filter, high temperature intake pipe, two detergent tanks, an air pump, a cooling water pump, two detergent pumps, a condenser, an impinger, a cooling water meter, a salinity meter, a liquid flow meter, a gas flow meter, nitrogen cylinders, connecting pipes, control valves, computer control program etc. The aerosol precursor concentration Cg emitted from industrial sources is measured in the online measurement section. After every measurement, the pipeline is cleaned by the pipeline cleaning part to remove organic and inorganic residual. The automatic control part is controlled by the computer through a controlling program to control the working process of the system. The system has small area occupation, low investment cost, simple maintenance, convenient transformation and high applicability.

CRYOGENIC SAMPLE HANDLING AND STORAGE SYSTEM

The invention relates to a sample handling and storage system. The system is used for storing and handling samples, which may be cryogenic samples, that are arranged for use in charged particle microscopy, such as cryo-electron microscope samples for use in cryo-transmission electron microscopy. The system comprises a storage apparatus for storing a plurality of samples, and a Charged Particle Apparatus (CPA), such as a cryo-TEM, at a location remote from said storage apparatus. The system further comprises a transfer device that is releasably connectable to said storage apparatus, and that is releasably connectable to said CPA as well. As defined herein, said transfer device is arranged for acquiring a sample from said plurality of samples when connected to said storage apparatus, and arranged for transferring said sample from said transfer device to said CPA when connected to said CPA.

Systems and methods for refrigerated storage of controls and calibrators utilize a refrigerant storage assembly having an insulated housing and door assembly, thermoelectric coolers, and the refrigerated base assembly having a metal plate thermally coupled to coolers, one or more sensors, and a plurality of receptacles to receive fluid tubes. Refrigerated storage provides a refrigerated environment suitable for multi-day storage of control and calibrator fluids.

An apparatus includes a housing, a temperature control space, and an air temperature control part. The housing has the rack insertion opening on one side surface for putting in and taking out the sample rack. The air temperature control part has an air intake portion for intake of air in the temperature control space, a fan for blowing air taken in from the air intake portion toward the sample rack accommodated in the temperature control space, and a cooling element provided to cool the air on a path of air taken in from the air intake portion. The air temperature control part is configured to reduce an amount of air flowing near the rack insertion opening while the sample rack is pulled out from the temperature control space as compared to while the sample rack is accommodated in the temperature control space, so as to suppress inflow of air through the rack insertion opening.
