Plastic composite board
11140986 · 2021-10-12 · ·

The present disclosure discloses plastic composite board comprising an upper board, a lower board, and a fastener. The lower board supports the upper board. The upper board comprises a panel and a downward edge disposed on a periphery of the panel. The periphery of the panel sinks downward to define a horizontal step surface, and the downward edge extends downward from an outer edge of the horizontal step surface. The fastener comprises a buckle groove. An inner side of the buckle groove defines an opening, and the buckle groove surrounds side portions of the upper board and the lower board to fixedly clamp the upper board and the lower board together. An upper wall of the buckle groove abuts the horizontal step surface, and a top surface of the fastener is lower than a top surface of the upper board.

COMPOSED ELEMENT, MULTI-LAYERED BOARD AND PANEL-SHAPED ELEMENT FOR FORMING THIS COMPOSED ELEMENT

Composed element, wherein this composed element comprises at least two panel-shaped elements, which substantially are formed from a board material; wherein said panel-shaped elements are interconnected at an angle by means of coupling devices including a tongue and a groove, which coupling devices substantially are made as profiled parts in the board material; and wherein said coupling devices also include locking elements, which, in coupled condition, prevent the moving apart of the tongue and groove. The panel-shaped elements are formed on the basis of board material in the form of particle board consisting of two or more layers, which in respect to the average fineness of the particles, show a different degree of fineness, namely a basic layer with coarser particles, more particularly chips, and at least one outer layer, or at least a more outward-situated layer, which is of a finer composition than the composition of the basic layer, in other words, with particles, chips, respectively, which on average are finer.

Furniture, such as a bed, dresser, cabinetry has a display system affixing a stack of interchangeable decorative panels to the furniture. The display system has an overlaying panelar frame that captures the stack of panels and has at least one elongated fastener securing the overlaying panelar frame on to a surface of the furniture item. The stack of interchangeable panels are each visually different such as having different colors and/or patterns and can be sandwiched between the overlaying panelar frame and the mounting surface in a pocket to immovably maintain the interchangeable panels against the furniture component. The stack of interchangeable panels can be rearranged such that a different panel is placed on top of the stack or the outermost position and thereby be visible through the opening in the overlaying panelar frame.

Table with floating perimeter support

A banquet table comprises a laminate tabletop with a high-pressure solid composite laminate of paper impregnated with resin. A hoop carries a perimeter of the tabletop and has a perimeter with a size and a shape substantially matching a size and a shape of a perimeter of the tabletop. Elongated runners carry an interior of the tabletop. Legs are coupled to the runners and extend to elevate the tabletop thereon. A polymer trim surrounds the perimeter of the hoop. The trim has a vertical height substantially the same as a vertical thickness of the hoop, with the tabletop extending above a height of the trim so that the tabletop has an exposed perimeter edge. The trim has a horizontal thickness extending laterally beyond the tabletop.

Manufacturing and assembly techniques make the use of solid-surface materials practical for open box or case structures, bookcases, shelving units, storage units, and other caseworks, with or without back panels, doors or drawers. All of the panels involved are preferably solid-surface materials, and the panels are routed to receive hidden, push-to-connect type fasteners between the opposing side edges of the top and bottom panels and the inner surfaces of the opposing side panels. The back panel, and the top, bottom and opposing side panels may have grooves to receive the back panel. The side panels may have a height and width sufficient to cover the edges of the top, bottom and back panels when the casework is assembled. Optionally, the back panel may side edges with outwardly extending tabs, and the grooves in the opposing side panels may have recesses to receive the tabs for added strength and stability.
