A method and apparatus for opening a reaction vessel having a body forming a volume for liquid, and a lid. In the method at least one reaction vessel is placed on a transport vehicle and the reaction vessel is positioned on the vehicle so that the vessel's rotation about its own axis is prevented. Then, the at least one reaction vessel is transferred on the vehicle and a guide rod, attached to the lid that is attached by a hinge to the reaction vessel, is pushed by the movement of the vehicle against a guide surface that forces the lid to turn on the hinge so that the lid is at least partially opened.

Slide rack carousel

A digital slide scanning apparatus slide rack carousel allows continuous loading and unloading of slide racks into the carousel while the digital slide scanning apparatus is simultaneously digitizing glass slides. The slide rack carousel includes a base having an interior portion of its upper surface at an angle. The slide rack carousel also includes plural rack spacers extending upward from the base and adjacent rack spacers define a rack slot. Each rack spacer also includes a rack stopper on each side such that adjacent rack spacers have rack stoppers facing each other. The rack stoppers prevent a slide rack from moving further toward the center of the carousel than desired.

Blood coagulation analyzer having a plurality of light sources and a plurality of measurement sections

Also provided is an analysis method using the device.

APPARATUS FOR THE AUTOMATED DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS OF LIQUID SAMPLES

In order to increase efficiency, to minimize the size of the apparatus and in order to reduce the workload of the operator who runs the analyzer, the apparatus for the automated analysis of liquid samples, including a sample tray, at least two reagent trays, at least two reaction trays, and at least two measuring devices. The sample tray is arranged in the center of the analysis area, the at least two reaction trays are arranged adjacent to the sample tray, the at least two reagent trays are arranged adjacent to the reaction trays and the at least two measuring devices are arranged adjacent to the reaction trays. Between the sample disc and each of the at least two reaction trays there is a pipetting device. Between each of the at least two reagent trays and their corresponding reaction trays there is a pipetting device.

Automatic analyzer and automatic analysis method

An automatic analyzer controls a sequence including optical measurement and cleaning and includes a discharge mechanism including a discharge nozzle for discharging a liquid into a reaction vessel; and an overflow suction mechanism including an overflow suction nozzle for sucking an overflow amount of the liquid in the reaction vessel. In a liquid discharge step included in a cleaning process and interposed between a preceding step using a detergent and a succeeding blank value measurement step, the automatic analyzer establishes a first state where a lower end of the discharge nozzle is located in a height-wise lower part of the reaction vessel and a lower end of the overflow suction nozzle is located in an upper part of the reaction vessel, and provides control to carry out the discharge of liquid from the discharge nozzle and the suction of the overflow amount of liquid through the overflow suction nozzle.

Automated analysis system

Work, such as status confirmation, in a plurality of automatic analyzers is efficiently performed. In an automated analysis system, a tablet terminal 114 has a terminal information management unit 210 and a terminal display unit 208. A terminal information management unit 210 acquires device information showing the state status of a device from automatic analyzers 101a to 101d, and generates a status confirmation screen showing the device status of the automatic analyzer. A terminal display unit 208 displays the status confirmation screen. The status confirmation screen has a status information screen showing the device status of one automatic analyzer and a device switch button configured to switch the status information screen to a status information screen corresponding to another other automatic analyzer. When the switch button is selected, the terminal information management unit 210 generates a status confirmation screen for an automatic analyzer corresponding to the selected switch button, and displays the status confirmation screen on the display unit.
