Automated storage modules for diagnostic analyzer liquids and related systems and methods
Example automated storage modules for analyzer liquids are described herein. An example apparatus includes a refrigerated storage module having a plurality of shelves (to store a plurality of carriers) and a loading bay having an array of slots to receive one or more of the carriers. The loading bay is accessible by a user for manual loading or unloading of the carriers. The example apparatus includes a first carrier transporter coupled to the storage module to transfer the carriers between the shelves and a first transfer location and a second carrier transporter movable along a track connecting the storage module to an automated diagnostic analyzer. The second carrier transporter is to transfer a first carrier between the first transfer location and a slot in the loading bay and a second carrier between the first transfer location and a second transfer location accessible by the automated diagnostic analyzer.
ONLINE LIQUID AUTOSAMPLER AND PROCESSING SYSTEM
An online liquid autosampler may include a pipette, a depyrogenation system, a sample source, and a movement system. The depyrogenation system may be configured to selectively depyrogenate the pipette. The sample source may be configured to provide a liquid to be sampled to the pipette. The movement system may be coupled to one or more of the pipette, the depyrogenation system, or the sample source. The movement system may be configured to: position the pipette within the depyrogenation system for depyrogenation; position a tip of the pipette within the sample source to aspirate a sample of the liquid from the sample source; and position the pipette to dispense an aliquot of the sample of the liquid into an aliquot sample target.
CONSUMABLE MANIPULATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF LIQUID HANDLING
A method and device to perform liquid handling by means of manipulation and transportation of consumables, instead of manipulation and transportation of a liquid handling head, among static or quasi-static liquid handling heads. A quasi-static liquid handling head (or pipette) that doesn't move between the aspiration and dispensing steps.
Device for storing of fluid containers
A device for container storing is presented. The device comprises storage with at least one storing level including a pipetting storing level for fluid pipetting. Each storing level has storing positions having a container holder to detachably hold at least one container. A handler is movable with respect to the storage for transferring containers with respect to the storing positions. A storing position of the pipetting storing level includes a flat spring to bias a container against the container holder. The flat spring has a through hole to provide a pipette access to a lid of the container. A system for pipetting is also presented, comprising the device and a pipettor movable with respect to the pipetting storing level with at least one pipette for pipetting contained in a container stored in the pipetting storing level. The pipette has a pipette tip to penetrate a lid of the container.
ASSAY SYSTEM INCLUDING ASSAY APPARATUS AND HANDHELD SINGLE USE ASSAY DEVICES FOR USE THEREWITH
Assay systems including assay apparatus and handheld assay devices for use therewith for obtaining diagnostic information of a bodily specimen. Assay devices include a cartridge housing snugly accommodating a specimen slide intended for elevation from an initial lowermost specimen introduction position to a final uppermost specimen examination position in which a bodily specimen is compressed between a cartridge housing top face and a specimen slide. Assay devices preferably include a liquid reagent dispensing arrangement for dispensing liquid reagent on a specimen slide for reacting with a bodily specimen.
Test cartridge with integrated transfer module
A system that includes a cartridge housing and a hollow transfer module, according to an embodiment is described herein. The cartridge housing further includes at least one sample inlet, a plurality of storage chambers, a plurality of reaction chambers, and a fluidic network. The fluidic network is designed to connect the at least one sample inlet, a portion of the plurality of storage chambers and the portion of the plurality of reaction chambers to a first plurality of ports located on an inner surface of the cartridge housing. The hollow transfer module includes a second plurality of ports along an outer surface of the transfer module that lead to a central chamber within the transfer module. The transfer module is designed to move laterally within the cartridge housing. The lateral movement of the transfer module aligns at least a portion of the first plurality of ports with at least a portion of the second plurality of ports.
FLOW ASSAY ANALYZER
Described is a lateral flow high throughput assay device analyzer for preparing and analyzing a plurality of lateral flow assay samples. The analyzer comprises a cartridge stage for supporting an assay cartridge, an elevation adjustment mechanism, and a translation adjustment mechanism for aligning the cartridge stage and assay cartridge relative to a vertical support structure, fluid metering device, and detection device for high throughput lateral flow assay analysis.
Autosampler with sample agitation system
A sample agitation system for an automated sampling device is described. In an example implementation, the sample agitation system includes a sample probe configured to contact a sample positioned within a sample vessel. Further, the sample agitation system includes an actuator coupled to the sample probe that is configured to stir the sample positioned within the sample vessel in one or more rotational directions. The directions may include, but are not limited to, clockwise motion, anti-clockwise motion, or the like. In some implementations, a sample probe support arm can be coupled to the sample probe and/or the actuator. The actuator can move the sample probe support arm in a translational, a rotational, and/or a vertical direction to rotate the sample probe and stir the sample.
Reagent Filling Device and Sample Analyzer with Reagent Filling Device
A reagent filling device and a sample analyzer with the reagent filling device. The reagent filling device includes a base, a horizontal rotation component, a vertical lifting component and a cantilever component, wherein, the horizontal rotation component is connected with the base, the vertical lifting component moves in a vertical direction relative to the base, the vertical lifting component drives the cantilever component to move along the vertical direction, the cantilever component is rotatably arranged relative to the vertical lifting component, there are a plurality of cantilever components, the cantilever component includes a cantilever body, a length of the cantilever body of at least one cantilever component is greater than a length of the cantilever body of each of the rest cantilever components, and the cantilever component is configured to add a reagent in a reagent disc to a reaction cup in a reaction disc.
