BOILER INSPECTION DEVICE
An inspection device facilitates inspection of the interior of a boiler, such as the burner front, while the operator remains stationed outside the boiler. The inspection device includes a camera mounted to a distal end of a shaft sized to be received through a port formed in the boiler wall. The camera is pivotable between a low-profile stowed position, which allows passage through the inspection port, and a deployed position which allows the camera to gain a full and complete picture of the interior of the boiler. A proximal control may be provided to allow the operator to pivot the camera between the stowed and deployed positions for ingress, use and egress of the camera.
AUTOMATIC CORRECTION OF TUBE LABEL INFORMATION
A method to handle tubes in a diagnostic laboratory automation system comprising a control device and a tube-analyzing device is presented. The tube-analyzing device comprises a tube identification reader, a tube type recognition unit, a sample color determination unit, and a tube consistence unit. The tube identification reader reads tube identification device. The tube type recognition unit identifies tube type. The sample color determination unit determines sample color. The tube consistence unit determines sample consistency. The sample tube type, the tube type, the sample color, the sample consistency are send to the control device. The control device determines a construed tube type from one or more of the information of the tube type, the sample color, and the sample consistency. The control device checks whether the tube type matches the construed tube type and changes a used tube type from the tube type to the construed tube type.
ULTRASONIC BORESCOPE FOR DRILLED SHAFT INSPECTION
A borescope includes a housing extending from a first end toward a second end, the housing including a first transparent viewing section extending circumferentially around a longitudinal axis of the housing and defining an exterior of a portion of the housing; a first imaging assembly configured to rotate about the longitudinal axis of the housing, and also pivot relative to the longitudinal axis of the housing; and a second imaging assembly disposed within the housing, the second imaging assembly being configured to rotate about the longitudinal axis of the housing, wherein the second imaging assembly is configured to visualize a field of view exterior of the housing through the first transparent viewing section.
Ultrasonic borescope for drilled shaft inspection

Cooling hole inspection system
An inspection system includes a thermographic sensor configured to capture thermographic data of a component having holes as a fluid is pulsed toward the holes, and one or more processors configured to temporally process the thermographic data to calculate temporal scores for the corresponding holes, spatially process the thermographic data to calculate spatial scores for the corresponding holes, and calculate composite scores associated with the holes based on the temporal scores and based on the spatial scores. The composite scores represent a likelihood that the corresponding holes are open, blocked or partially blocked.
Fluid breakdown detection systems and processes useful for liquid immersion cooling
A two-phase liquid immersion cooling system is described in which heat generating computer components cause a dielectric fluid cool the computer components. Advantageously, a pH indicator is employed to monitor the acidity of the dielectric fluid via, for example, a color change.
Leather Inspection System
A leather inspection apparatus is provided for detecting inconsistencies on both upper and lower surfaces of a hide. It includes a first camera assembly movably coupled to a support frame and capable of movement along the upper surface of the hide and a second camera assembly movably coupled to the support frame and capable of movement along the lower surface of the hide. A computing device is coupled to the first camera assembly and the second camera assembly, such that the first camera assembly detects the locations of inconsistencies in the upper surface of the hide and the second camera assembly detects the locations of inconsistencies in the lower surface of the hide. The computing device digitally stores the locations of the inconsistencies of the upper surface of the hide and the locations of the inconsistencies of the lower surface of the hide.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FLEXIBLY HOLDING WORKPIECE AND REPORTING WORKPIECE LOCATION
A vacuum clamp inspection system comprises a rigid structure; a sensor system mounted relative to the rigid structure; a calibration fixture mounted on the table; and a vacuum clamp configured to provide at least one of a location and a pose of a component relative to the calibration fixture.

The composite scores represent a likelihood that the corresponding holes are open, blocked or partially blocked.
MOBILE CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
A target sample to be chemically analyzed is received at a microfluidic device which is part of an analysis card. The microfluidic device includes at least one input layer configured to receive the target sample, at least one intermediary layer, and at least one readout layer configured to present one or more color attributes at one or more readout regions in response to one or more colorimetric reactions to the target sample. An image of the readout layer of the microfluidic device is obtained. A calibration file that corresponds to the analysis card is obtained. The calibration file includes a calibrated model of at least one color attribute based on data from at least one known chemical attribute of at least one standard sample processed by a calibration card. A data processing function is executed on the obtained image by comparing the one or more color attributes at the one or more readout regions to the calibrated model of the at least one color attribute to determine at least one chemical attribute of the target sample.
