A position-adjustable lift table is provided. The lift table comprises an upper plate, a lower plate, a lift assembly provided between the upper plate and the lower plate and including an upper frame hinged to the upper plate, a lower frame hinged to the lower plate, and a driving arm assembly. The driving arm assembly includes two upper arms connected with each other via a first elastic body, two lower arms connected with each other via a second elastic body, the upper arms being hinged to the lower arms. A locking device is provided at an end of the driving arm assembly to secure a folded or unfolded position of the driving arm assembly.

An apparatus for adjusting the assistive lifting force capacity of a height adjustable work surface. The apparatus includes a couple of plates which are mounted to a system for providing a system for adjusting the height of the work surface. The plates include a set of connection points for connecting the apparatus to a gas spring. The geometry of the holes and the positioning of the gas spring provide for a more consistent lifting force throughout a range of motion of the work surface.

An adjustable desk platform can include: an upper platform defining a substantially planar work surface; a base located beneath the upper platform, the base defining a bottom surface without legs that is adapted to sit on an existing desk; first and second sets of arms coupling the upper platform to the base, wherein the first and second sets of arms are adapted for movement of the upper platform substantially in parallel with the base between a fully raised position and a fully lowered position; and a user-operable locking mechanism associated with the upper platform, the locking mechanism adapted to releasably lock the upper platform in the fully raised position, and in at least one intermediate position between the fully raised position and the fully lowered position. In some embodiments, the merchandiser includes a display section which may include a refrigerated display section and/or a non-refrigerated display section adapted for holding merchandise for customers to view and access. In some embodiments, the merchandiser also includes a food preparation section accessible to an employee serving the customers. The merchandiser may include an electrical outlet for supplying electrical power to one or more appliances. The merchandiser may include a partition for concealing an appliance area from view by the customers. Shields may be provided for preventing flow of air into or out of an open front of a refrigerated compartment in the refrigerated display section. A curtain may be provided for selectively covering the open front of the refrigerated compartment.
