METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RAISING AND LOWERING OF DESK WITHIN A WORK SURFACE
A desk within a work surface or table such that the desk can be raised and lowered to any desired position in relation to the work surface using an actuator that controls the use of telescoping legs or rods. During the process of returning the desk back to its original flush, or in horizontal seamless alignment with, the rest of the work surface, a knee action safety device co-acts, or in combination, with a gas spring is used for controlling the lowering of the desk and creating a virtually weightless of desk during final descent; thus, eliminating the possibility of a person's limb or hand being crushed or severely injured, even if these are providing obstruction
Table Connection Mechanism and Method of Using the Same
A table arrangement includes connection mechanisms for inter-connection of height adjustable tabletops so that the tabletops are independently moveable in a stable way. Embodiments of the table arrangement can be configured so that different height adjustable tabletops can be arranged to accommodate different users' preferences. Some embodiments of the table arrangement can utilize at least one cross-member connection mechanism connected to at least one column connection mechanisms 20.
Electrically-lifted computer desk and office desk thereof
An electrically-lifted computer desk and office desk thereof, wherein the computer desk comprises a bottom plate, a driving mechanism, an intermediate support member, a first side-support member, a second side-support member and a face plate, wherein the driving mechanism is fixedly disposed on the bottom plate; the face plate is fixedly disposed on the first side-support member and the second side-support member; and the driving mechanism drives the face plate to rise or fold via the intermediate support member, the first side-support member and the second side-support member.
ELECTRICALLY-LIFTED COMPUTER DESK AND OFFICE DESK THEREOF
A desk having a bottom plate, a face plate movably coupled to the bottom plate by one or more support members, a motor configured to selectively move the face plate upward and downward with respect to the bottom plate, and a control mechanism. The control mechanism can have a first sensor device coupled to an upper surface of the bottom plate, the first sensor device having one or more first optical sensors, and a second sensor device aligned parallel to the first sensor device and coupled to a lower surface of the face plate, the second sensor device having one or more second optical sensors in communication with the one or more first optical sensors. The control mechanism can be configured to stop the motor from moving the face plate in response to an object between the first sensor device and the second sensor device.
WORK STATION WITH IN-WALL HEIGHT-ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM
A height-adjustable work station includes (a) a partition wall having an internal wall frame and axially opposed first and second exterior wall surfaces mounted to the wall frame, the first and second exterior wall surfaces spaced axially apart by a wall thickness; (b) a carriage support located within the wall thickness and mounted to the wall frame, the carriage support including a vertical track; (c) a carriage mounted to the carriage support in sliding engagement with the track; (d) a work surface assembly movably supported by the carriage on a first side of the wall; and (e) a linear actuator mounted within the wall thickness and coupled to the carriage, the actuator configured to vertically translate the carriage along the track for facilitating height adjustment of the work surface assembly.
Multi-functional table and table control system
A multi-functional table is provided. The multi-functional table includes at least one plate, at least one support part connected to the at least one plate and adjusting a height of each of the at least one plate, a communication part receiving user information from a user terminal, and a controller part controlling operations of the at least one support part in response to the user information which is received from the communication part.
FURNITURE HAVING HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE TOP PANELS
A furniture having a height-adjustable top panel (10A) includes: a top panel portion (20A, 20B); a support structure (13) which is provided at the top panel portion (20A, 20B), and which supports so that the top panel portion (20A, 20B) is capable of adjusting a height by expanding or contracting the support structure in a vertical direction; a joint structure (9) which is joined to the support structure (13); and an illumination apparatus (40) which is supported by the joint structure (9), and which is arranged in a vicinity of the top panel portion (20A, 20B) in a plane view.
HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE TABLE
A height adjustable table can include a plurality of legs, a lower portion, a worksurface, a height adjustable surface, and a linkage. The worksurface can be supported by the plurality of legs and can include a fixed surface and a height adjustable surface. The fixed surface can be secured to at least one of the lower portion and the plurality of legs, and the fixed surface can define a recessed portion. The height adjustable surface can be movable between a raised position and a lowered position so that the height-adjustable surface retracts into the recessed portion when in the lowered position so that the height adjustable surface is coplanar with the fixed surface. The linkage can be configured to move the height adjustable surface between the lowered position and the raised position so that the height adjustable surface remains parallel to the fixed surface.
Workstation including simplified leg attachment
A coupling system between the frame and the leg assembly of a workstation is described. The coupling system can be configured to selectively attach and detach the leg assembly from the frame. The leg assembly can include an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism can be configured to adjust the length of the leg. The leg assembly can include a leg coupling feature and the frame can have a frame coupling feature. The leg coupling feature can be configured to engage with the frame coupling feature, for instance to attach the leg to the frame. The workstation can include a latch configured to engage with the leg assembly. Engagement of the latch with the leg assembly can secure a position of the leg with respect to the frame.
HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE MULTIFUNCTION TABLE
The invention relates to a height-adjustable table (1), in particular an office table having a seated-working region and a standing-working region, wherein the table (1) has two table tops (T1, T2), which each have a left-hand and right-hand table side (LS1, RS1, LS2, RS2), a front table side (V) and a rear table side (R), wherein, as seen from the front table side (V), the table tops (T1, T2) are arranged one beside the other, wherein the two table tops (T1, T2) are arranged at two different working heights (A1, A2), in order to form the respective seated-working region and standing-working region, wherein the two table tops (T1, T2) are fastened at a fixed or variable distance apart from one another in the height direction H, and wherein the higher-level table top (T1) forms a table surface (TF1) which, as seen in the height direction, is arranged very much predominantly to almost completely alongside the table surface of the lower table top (T2).
