The radiation imaging system comprises: an obtaining unit configured to obtain information with respect to a communication state between the radiation imaging apparatus and the control apparatus; and a display control unit configured to cause a display unit of at least one of the radiation imaging apparatus and the control apparatus to display information indicating a margin in the communication state based on an imaging mode of the radiation imaging apparatus and the information with respect to the communication state.

Radiographic imaging apparatus

There is provided a radiographic imaging apparatus capable of alignment of a detector with a collimator with a position of a radiation source fixed. The radiographic imaging apparatus includes the radiation source which irradiates a subject with radioactive rays, a plurality of detecting elements which detect photons in the radioactive rays, and a collimator which is disposed between the radiation source and the detecting elements and has a plurality of walls which form a plurality of passing holes that the radioactive rays pass. The detecting element and the collimator are aligned with each other in a direction which is orthogonal to a direction that the subject is irradiated with the radioactive rays such that a ratio or a difference between output signals from the detecting elements which are mutually adjacent with the wall being interposed falls within a predetermined range.

X-RAY BAGGAGE AND PARCEL INSPECTION SYSTEM WITH EFFICIENT THIRD-PARTY IMAGE PROCESSING

In an approach to X-ray inspection image display systems, a colorized X-ray inspection image is received comprising a monochrome X-ray inspection image that is colorized in accordance with an X-ray inspection system false colorization scheme. The colorized X-ray inspection image is filtered by performing pixel shading on the colorized X-ray inspection image to generate a custom colorized X-ray inspection image having a custom false colorization scheme that is different from the X-ray inspection system false colorization scheme.

X-RAY IMAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING FOREIGN OBJECT THEREBY

An X-ray imaging system has an X-ray imaging apparatus include a foreign object image generation element that generates a foreign object image to make sure there is no foreign object left inside a subject body after a surgical operation. A first display unit displays at least one image selected from a group consisting of an X-ray image and a foreign object image. The X-ray imaging system is connected to an X-ray imaging apparatus through a network and displays the foreign object image on the second display unit that provides a better visual recognition level than the first display unit.

Operating a particle beam device

A particle beam device comprises a first particle beam column for providing a first particle beam and a second particle beam column for providing a second particle beam. Operating the particle beam device may include: supplying the second particle beam with second charged particles onto an object using the second particle beam column, loading a value of a control parameter into a control unit from a database or calculating the value of the control parameter in the control unit, setting an objective lens excitation of a first objective lens of the first particle beam column using the value of the control parameter, detecting second interaction particles using a particle detector. The second interaction particles may emerge from an interaction of the second particle beam with the object when the second particle beam is incident on the object.

X-ray imaging system

An X-ray imaging system includes the following. An X-ray Talbot imaging apparatus includes an X-ray source, a plurality of gratings, and an X-ray detector. An X-ray is irradiated from the X-ray source through the examined target which is an object and the plurality of gratings and to the X-ray detector to obtain a moire image necessary to generate the reconstructed image of the examined target. A first database shows, for each name or type of material, a correlation between information regarding a signal strength in the reconstructed image generated based on the moire image and quality information of the material included in the examined target. A controller estimates as the evaluation index the quality information in the examined target from the reconstructed image based on information regarding the input name or the type of material and input shape information and the first database.
