The present disclosure relates to a table top, a leg and a worktable comprising a table top and legs. The table top has a honeycomb structure which extends along a main extension plane of the table top, with one or more areas being cut out from the honeycomb structure in accordance with a predetermined layout for receiving electrical and/or mechanical components. The leg has one or more decorative elements each having an areal main extension, the one or more decorative elements extending along their areal main dimensions over at least part of the surface of the leg and being fixed to the leg. Further, a worktable having such a table top and such a leg is described. A system comprising a worktable with a table top and legs of this type as well as a packaging for packing the worktable is also described.
ELECTRIC LIFTING DESK WITH THREE-SECTION LEGS
A three-segment electric lifting desk includes a desktop and supporting legs. The supporting legs are connected to the bottom of the desktop. A main beam is provided at a bottom of the desktop, and two ends of the main beam are respectively connected to one supporting leg. The supporting leg is formed by connecting three tubes of different diameters, and the three tubes are a first tube, a second tube and a third tube, respectively. The three tubes are sequentially nested and connected to each other, and an interconnected cavity is formed inside the tubes. An electric pushing rod is provided in the cavity. The three-segment electric lifting desk has the characteristics of simple structure, stable lifting process, freely space retracting and expanding, stable driving of lifting and lowering, etc.
Height adjustable support surface and system for encouraging human movement and promoting wellness
Methods and systems for reminding a user to adjust a height adjustable workstation that includes a worktop supported by a frame, an interface including user input controls and a vertical displacement drive mechanism, the user input controls including at least one input control, each of the user input controls for receiving manual direct user selections from a workstation user to activate the drive mechanism to initiate worktop elevation adjustments to a different worktop elevation positions, an exemplary method comprising the steps of monitoring at least one condition related to ongoing use of the worktop over a period of time while a user is associated with the worktop and when the at least one condition occurs, without any user selection to initiate a change in worktop height via the interface subsequent to the at least one condition occurring, moving the worktop to remind the user to perform some activity.
TELESCOPING MODULES FOR USE IN MODULAR UTILITY SYSTEMS
Four types of telescoping modules are disclosed wherein the first type has a pair of opposed female ends, the second type has a pair of opposed female ends, and the third type has a female end and an opposed male end. The fourth type has two opposed male ends between which a positionable threaded rod and retaining components stably extend the length between the male ends of the telescoping module. Alternatively, the fourth type of telescoping module may have a female end and a male end. Each of the male ends of the second, third, and fourth types of telescoping modular components comprises a cylindrical body with one or more linear set(s) of two or more spaced-apart prongs on the circumferential surface of the cylindrical body. Each of the female ends has a cylindrical receptacle with one or more linear channels and/or prong-retaining slots for receiving therein the cylindrical body.
Automatic elevation-adjusting system
An automatic elevation-adjusting system includes an elevating unit, a control panel, a setting module, a calculating module and a central control module. The control panel includes a power icon, a direction icon unit, a setting icon, and a mode icon unit. The setting icon is operable to actuate the setting module to allow a user to press the direction icon unit and the power icon to enter data including a name, height, sex and age. The calculating module calculates average elevations for playing games, writing, reading and standing based on the user's sex and age, a pre-set specification of the table and an average height corresponding to the user's sex and age. The central control module actuates the elevating unit to move a table to the average elevation for playing games, writing, reading or standing when the game, writing, reading or standing icon of the mode icon unit is pressed.
Height adjustable support surface and system for encouraging human movement and promoting wellness
A system for adjusting a height of a workstation, comprising a height adjust system for a workstation, the height adjust system being adjustable in elevation, a worktop mounted to the height adjustment system for movement therewith to different positions, a first sensor device for sensing the presence of a workstation user within a space associated with the workstation, a processor that tracks and stores at least the duration of time that the worktop is in at least one of a sitting position and a standing position while a user is within the space associated with the workstation, the processor further providing a user with a reminder to change a current position of the worktop to another position.
Supporting frame for a piece of furniture
The invention relates to a supporting frame with a lifting column (59) comprising telescopically arranged profiles with an upper and lower end, said upper end having a housing (60) secured thereto, and a base unit (61,62,63) with a compartment at least for partial reception of the lifting column housing (60) and a locking element (75), which when placed in a locked position exerts a squeezing force between the base unit (61,62) and the housing (60) of the lifting column (59). Thus, the housing (60) of the lifting column (59) is positioned and fixed in the base unit (61,62,63). The supporting frame further comprises means for retaining the locking element (78) in the locked position.
Height adjustable table/desk control mechanism
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods for controlling movement of a desk or table. The apparatuses, systems, and methods may include a housing arranged with the desk or table and a lever configured to initiate raising or lowering of the desk in response to a force applied by a user.
INTELLIGENT OFFICE FURNISHINGS
A method of communicatively pairing a first furnishing item with a second furnishing item, the method including impacting the first furnishing item against the second furnishing item. The method also includes generating a first output with a first sensor of the first furnishing item in response to an impact between the first furnishing item and the second furnishing item and generating a second output with a second sensor of the second furnishing item in response to the impact between the first furnishing item and the second furnishing item. The method further includes receiving, by a controller, the first output, receiving, by the controller, the second output, and pairing a first communication circuit of the first furnishing item with a second communication circuit of the second furnishing item in response to receiving the second output within a predetermined time of receiving the first output.
Height-adjustable multifunctional table
A height-adjustable multifunctional table includes a base, at least two independent and height-adjustable table legs, a retaining frame, a tabletop, a power adapter, a controller, and a hand controller. Through the wireless connection between the hand controller and the controller, the controller is used to control a driving mechanism, and the driving mechanism drives a movable inner tube to move up and down so as to adjust the height of a tabletop. The user only needs to control the hand controller to adjust the height of the tabletop. The height adjustment is easy and more convenient and saves time and labour.
