A furniture control system has a first and a second control unit to which a first and a second actuator are connectable. The first control unit is configured to control the first actuator based on first actuation data and comprises a first data pool unit for storing first data including the first actuation data. The second control unit is configured to control the second actuator based on second actuation data and comprises a second data pool unit for storing second data including the second actuation data. The control system is configured to synchronize the first and second data upon a change of the first and/or the second actuation data.
DEVICE FOR TABLE ELEVATION
A device for table elevation includes: two decorative covers; two guiding bases connected by a connecting rod and each having four fixed sides; plural guide bearings provided in pairs, each pair arranged opposite, and at an angle with respect to, each other; two guide posts having plural guided sides corresponding in number and position to the fixed sides, the guided sides being in contact with the guide bearings so that the guide posts can slide with respect to the guiding bases respectively, the guide bearings abutting against the guided sides in the aforesaid pairs; two driving units each including an elevating rod; and a tabletop with a guide post fixing base fixed at the top ends of the guide posts and of the elevating rods so as to move vertically with the elevating rods and the guide posts while the decorative covers and the guide posts stay vertical and stable.
Height-adjustable office furniture
A height-adjustable office furniture comprising a table top, at least one height adjustable leg unit and a drive unit to drive adjustment of the height of the leg, a drive control system configured to control and power the drive unit and an anti-collision system connected to the drive control system and configured to detect when movement of the table top along the vertical direction Z is blocked. A resilient element is provided in the connection between the drive unit and the table top, the resilient element defining a suspension travel extending along a vertical direction Z to reduce vibrations.
HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT SURFACE AND SYSTEM FOR ENCOURAGING HUMAN MOVEMENT AND PROMOTING WELLNESS
A height adjustable table assembly system comprising a worktop, a frame, a height adjustment subassembly integrated into the table assembly and adapted to cause worktop elevation adjustment, a user interface and a processor programmed to perform the steps of, while the worktop is at a current elevation position, upon sensing a quick multiple activation of the interface, controlling the height adjustment subassembly to move the worktop to a stored elevation position and upon sensing a prolonged activation of the interface, controlling the height adjustment subassembly to change worktop elevation while the prolonged activation persists.
Height adjustable desk
A height adjustable desk includes a worksurface, a first leg and a second leg connected to the worksurface. The first leg is provided with a first motor to drive a first lifting apparatus for telescoping the first leg, while the second leg is provided with a second motor to drive a second lifting apparatus for telescoping the second leg. Each of the first motor and the second motor is provided with a magnetic device and two sensors. The magnetic device has several N-pole sections and S-pole sections, and the sensor detect a change of a magnetic field when the motor is turning. A control unit receives the signals of the sensor, and changes a speed of at least one of the motors until the signals are synchronous again when the control unit found that the signals are not synchronous.
Height adjustable support surface and system for encouraging human movement and promoting wellness
A system and method for controlling a height adjustable workstation that includes a worktop supported by a frame, a processor, and a vertical displacement drive mechanism controllable by the processor to change the elevation of the worktop to different worktop elevation positions, the method comprising the steps of sensing the presence of a workstation user within a space associated with the workstation, tracking the duration of time that the worktop is in at least a first position while a user is within the space associated with the workstation and providing the user with a reminder to change the current position of the worktop to another position when the tracked duration of time reaches a threshold level by driving the worktop through at least one vertical displacement that is perceptible to the workstation user.
Height adjustable support surface and system for encouraging human movement and promoting wellness
A system for adjusting the height of a workstation for use by a user, the system comprising a frame, a worktop having an upper work surface, the worktop being vertically slidably attached to said frame and selectably adjustable in elevation to different positions including at least a first standing position and at least a first sitting position and a processor tracking a first duration of time that the worktop is in at least one of a standing position or a sitting position and generating ongoing statistical data associated with the first duration on an ongoing basis by comparing the first duration to a time period as the user is using the workstation during an ongoing prolonged period of time.
INTELLIGENT OFFICE FURNISHINGS
A method of operating a desk including receiving, at a desk controller, a message from a chair, and determining a position of a user based on the message. The message includes an indication of a sensed rotation of the chair. The method also includes generating, via the desk controller, a control signal for a motor based on the position of the user. The motor is coupled to a support framework of the desk. The method further includes changing a height of the support framework of the desk according to the control signal.
Height adjustable support surface and system for encouraging human movement and promoting wellness
A workstation system for tracking workstation activity, the system comprising a database storing user specific information including at least one user goal associated with user activity at the workstation, the workstation including at least a first sensor, the at least a first sensor automatically collecting data useable to determine identity of a user within a space associated with the workstation and collecting user biometrics, a first reminder device and the system further including at least a first processor linked to the at least a first sensor and the reminder device, the processor receiving data from the at least a first sensor device and using the received data to attempting to determine the identity of the user that occupies the space, upon identifying the first system user, the processor tracking user biometrics, programmed to access at least a subset of the information associated with the first user and use the accessed information for the user as well as the user biometrics to automatically generate periodic reminders for the first system user via the reminder device to perform at least one activity.
Height adjustable support surface and system for encouraging human movement and promoting wellness
A method for controlling a height adjustable workstation that includes a worktop supported by a frame and a vertical displacement drive mechanism controllable to change the elevation of the worktop to different worktop elevation positions, the method comprising, using a processor linked to the drive mechanism to perform the steps of tracking periods during which the worktop is in various worktop elevation positions, using the tracked periods to identify times at which to present reminders to a workstation user to change a current worktop elevation position to a standing elevation position and at the identified times, controlling the drive mechanism to automatically change the worktop height from the current worktop elevation position to another elevation position that is distinct from any standing elevation position to encourage a workstation user to raise the worktop to a standing elevation position.
